I honestly don't think we're ever going to get that detailed hands-on kind of web slinging again. That was a whole system to master, Nowadays traversal is more of a tool in your arsenal than having players need to get a grip on just moving around

Probably. While Marvel is top notch when it comes to movies, their games have been pretty horrid outside of MvC. This move seems to be one made to address that issue.

Insomniac knocked it out of the park with Sunset Overdrive and I totally enjoyed Ratchet & Clank so absolutely down for a Spider-Man game from them. Not big on the default costume but can't remember a Spidey game in the last 15 years that didn't let you change outfits so whatever.
