I appear to be stuck in a lobby that isn't getting anyone else, so I guess I've got to reboot. Aside from that though, this game is a lot of fun. Finally, a shooter where I'm at the top of the board haha.

Can't get good grasp on the sniper but the other weapons are pretty great. This game is fun once you figure out the controls

Wow. I'm day 1 now.

Came in first multiple times with Jr. Sucked hard with the charger.

Time to try the roller finally.

Also wonder if the loading minigame is Namco.

Its fun so far. Rollers not that OP, if you see it coming you can kill them 9 times out of 10.

Controls do still feel a bit awkward though, I've tried all of the schemes, maybe I just have to get used to it.

Fun, but not sure how whether it's worth a purchase. I imagine it'll get stale quite fast despite the various modes on offer.

Hate the sniper.

Roller is fun.

The machine guns are amusing.

Most people seem to be playing it like a shooter rather than aiming for map control. I ran around with a roller and our team steamrolled them because they were focused on kills rather than ink.

Well, what I have been able to actually play has been fun. Unfortunately I've disconnected from every match, and now I can't get into any. I keep getting stuck on the "Searching for a battle" screen, getting "failed to connect to partner's device" errors and whatnot. Ugh.

Motion control scheme is garbage. Lack of Wii Pro controller is also pretty sad.

And the sensitivity options only affect the vertical movement, WTF. I changed it higher thinking it would work out good and went into a game where my controls were moving blinding fast up and down but slow sideways.

Hopefully that's something they've fixed for the final game. As for the game, it's fun but nothing I would buy day one.

Treehouse guy was using the sniper rifle really effectively, not even sniping, but laying a straight line of ink, sneaking through it to the end, sniping another line, etc. Seems like a reasonably effective tactic.

really fun, won every single match i played but can't see myself spending $60, its too little content for that price. I'm sure that without a doubt I'll get bored of turf war in the same 5 maps after a while, if it was $40 I'd be there day one. I'll pick it up during black friday when it goes on sale for $40 or less, or maybe NoA will be smart and drop it earlier ;)

I guess the Roller is the Newbcannon of Splatoon so far - easy to use, murders the crap out of people who haven't figured out movement, but hard to use against good players. I murdered a lot of roller users just by using my movement options properly.

Splattershots are great area denial weapons - a on that rig map you can block all the roller users from moving through a few spots pretty easily.

Charger I'm mixed on. It paints better than I thought, but the bullet arc is pretty brutal.

Overall, definitely sold on this game. First Console MP shooter I'll have bought...ever, not counting minigames.

God feels so weird trying to aim with the gamepad. I can't aim for crap with the rifle especially even on regular aiming. And the roller on the other hand seems a bit stupidly OP lol, yet I feel the most useful with.XD Well couple wins and couple loses, think I had my fill.

You can easily get a kill against a roller, so if you manage that consistently you'll win out.

Holy shit we're getting wrecked whenever I go
