Could only play 30 minutes before having to leave in the session last night. Actually played more than I should of time wise, but fuck it. Only problem I really had which might just be an option somewhere is the inability to use the right stick to look up and down. I'm all fine with tilting for fine aim, but I still feel like I want to look up and down naturally. Maybe it's a thing I can change in the options or I'll just get use to it over time. I really love the idea of tilting for aiming since it made Uncharted Golden Abyss a real smooth experience for me, but it's just me wanting a combination option. I'm for some reason sort of surprised they can sneak in a minigame to play while loading into a match also. I figured Namco's weird patent thing about minigames during loading screens would cross into this kind of territory too.

Also had only one connection issue after the few I had at the beginning trying to start. Game just mysteriously said connection lost after 2 minutes or so of a game. It was a bit weird, but it's bound to happen with this sort of being a stress test.

Overall, had a lot of fun and each weapon is pretty fun. Only bummer is when I feel bad for wanting to try the sniper rifle and end up on a team with 2 other snipers and a roller. That's just going to happen with any multiplayer game anyway though so eh.

Also felt really good with the last minute and 10 second countdowns since you're just working really hard to cover ground and splat the places no one is paying attention to. Felt really good the one time I felt like I helped win the match in the last 10 seconds by covering a whole lot of ground to help us win by a measly 5 percent or less.

Very excited to play more in the next 10 minutes or so.

Okay thanks. I read before that you can switch between gyro or analog sticks. Can anyone explain how to switch to analog sticks? Is it quite obvious on the menu screens?
Press + when you are in the loadout select screen. That will bring up the settings.

In the weapon selection screen, press + and the option to switch gyro to analog will appear.

Edit: ninjas.

During the first round, people were saying to press +(start) on the weapon screen to bring up the option.

Almost time.

After watching a bunch of livestream archives I've realized how painful and frustrating it is to watch people suck at this game. Like players not covering any area in ink, passing up huge opportunities for coverage, not use super jump at all, etc.

Come on, many of these people barely started playing for the first time. I have no idea how the game is controlled and when I first play it in 10 minutes I'm sure I'll be terrible too. There's no way you can pick up most of games and knowing exactly how it plays as well as someone who played game for hours does.

It's adjusting to controls too, even in series which I know how to play when I get my hands on a new entry I still need a bit of time to adjust to physics of a new title.

I don't know if anyone's said it before but the "press ZL + ZR" is very reminiscent of the Wii's "press A + B to start" thing they had for while with that systems games

Alright, demo downloaded and I'm ready for the 12pm test fire. This should be fun.

This baseline might drive me mad though.

Question: can I play with the pro pad?

Remember guys rollers are not op if you're a sniper or if you're a splatters shot user with distance and good use of mobility. Rollers are giant moving targets.

If the demo says that servers are full or you're getting communication errors keep trying, you'll get in eventually.

Give the gyro a chance, it works really well once you get the swing of it. If you still decide against, yes it's really obvious in the loadout menu.
