Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

I had lag once where I was painting and painting and painting... but no paint was appearing on the ground... and then all of a sudden, the paint all appeared at once, lol.

But for the most part online has been rock solid.
 
I've been taking my time with the Campaign Mode(only finished the first world), but all this talk about "that final boss" is making me really anxious to see. And just how well hidden is that #2 scroll?!! Seems like I looked everywhere!

I reached level 10 a couple matches ago. Finally got a decent 'back-up' network(my neighbor's) to play on till I get a new router or usb-ethernet adapter. Anxious to try ranked battles!

Really loving this game!

It's the super for the second roller you can unlock. I think you can buy it at level 7.

I think it's to make up for the fact that if you use the roller and are anywhere in front of someone with a gun, you're essentially dead or have to retreat.

You have to beat the second boss as well to unlock it, I think.

I really hope they continue to add features like that as time goes on. I don't care how limited the game is at the moment, I feel like I've gotten my $60 worth already, but I do think the game needs more...MORE...MORE!! I want in-match titles like rival or nemesis or bombardier or sniper king or whatever. I want a replay system like you said. But most importantly, I want parties :-(

Do we know what party options, if any, are slated for August?
 
Every round where I've had GAFfers and randoms in a room, the GAFfers would just tear it up in the rankings. Whenever I'd be on the opposite team of Horizon and PadWarrior and I'd come across them on the map, I'd be like, "Ah crap, it's them" and be extra careful. We got a talented bunch here.

I actually found the #2 scroll completely by accident my first time in that level, iirc I'll give you a hint, its beneath a grate that you can fall through in squid form, just look down.
 
Also I like how this game is not as rage inducing as Mario Kart, you just have fun painting the ground, I sure hope Nintendo will grow this IP.
Ranked mode might feel different though, can't wait for it too.
 
Im so glad I blind bought this yesterday. It's the most fun I've had with a Nintendo game since the N64 days.

Controls definitely have a learning curve though and I wish the camera auto-corrected on its own and there was a lock-on/auto-aim option.
 
Sucks shit that you can't change gear mid-game. Want to unlock all the clothing abilities, but don't want to quit the lobby to change. =/
 
It's so satisfying to get a kill with Ink Mines. But it's rather annoying when enemies run over it, trigger the mine, but manage to run away from the explosion :(
