Hi my gafname is weekev and Im a Splatoonoholic. Its been 10 minutes since my last game, which only ended after I pulled an all nighter and my 5 year old came downstairs looking for something called brek fast.
I am starting to worry that the rig is not being defended in my absence and I dont know how I will manage without....One....More..

Managed to get the Wii U and 3DS working online finally!
This game's a blast! Too bad is my 6th day-straight working, so I need some sleep.
Made it to level 4 at least and bought some gear.
Glad that the issue was solved (created a static IP as DMZ and use that across Nintendo platforms).
Can finally play Smash and MK8 online too!

I told myself I was going to lay on the couch and watch Netflix, and not play Splatoon because I wasn't in the mood. I laid on the couch and played Splatoon for an hour. Addicting doesn't quite describe the game!

This game is fantastic. Played a fair bit of singleplayer and multiplayer tonight, super fun. Great style!
So far I'm best with rollers, probably because aiming isn't as important with those. Tried playing a few rounds with a charger, but I didn't feel like I was contributing much. With a charger, should I still try to paint the ground, or should I be more focused on sniping enemy players?

Does anyone else having luck with the blaster? I am absolutely destroying people with it. My last match ended with a kd of 10-2, and yes, I still led first for painting on my team. I love how it creates a long ink trail like the sniper rifle, but is basically a shotgun, making it perfect for doing a quick squid dash, popping up and one-shotting at close range, and repeating. I was sticking with the krak-on roller for my main weapon but this just took that spot handily.

I love the game, would love to see a death match mode. Would be some interesting strategys to sneaking around.
No such thing as rooms yet, just need to add friends then join a friend match.

i played one team, they setup a choke point, charger (sniper right?) had high ground and was just murdering everyone at bottleneck and splattershot junior was killing everyone that made ot through the gap. we got rolled.
i cant use it though

Can't use rollers for the life of me. Be it up close or stealthy or hit and runs, I just can't.
Death match modes will never appear. But many Turf War players seems to think they're playing a death match. Not fun getting players with 10-1 in kills and 0 points in my team.

I had to stop since I got nauseous when playing the single player campaign. This is generally pretty normal for me; as far back as Wolfenstein, I get some motion sickness while playing FPS or TPS games for reasons I don't know myself. But miraculously I don't get sick when playing Splatoon multi, so that's great.

There's a balance there. Take out the enemy immediately so that your team can keep laying down turf. I had my first few matches where I was at the top of the board with 7 kills and no deaths.
Also just finished Single Player and WOW. Beat it with one life left and that music was great! Nail biting to the very end

Creates a jump point. I'm not fully sure how useful it can be, but for example on Saltspray Rig, you could set up a beakon on higher ground before dropping down to the lower platform, then get back to safety if multiple enemies attempt to contest you for the lower platform.
Only thing you can do is join a friend's game. You're not guaranteed to be on their team either. Ranked matchmaking hasn't been unlocked in the game yet... it's based on how many players hit lvl 10.

Honestly gonna just git gud with chargers. They're my favorite weapon by far and away.
