Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

well it wouldn't really change anything, those players that pick stats over style will get their optimized equipment anyway. I would like to use my amiibo outfits but I feel that Ninja Squid is just too important

The designers are doing just what they're doing with the actual gameplay design, making you have to weigh your options and choose. It's either this, or in 2 weeks everyone is min maxing builds til it's meaningless. I'm glad they've seen to it that this can't happen so we don't get unstoppable builds forcing them to spend more time balancing after the fact rather than just worry about future content.

I lowered the resistance all the way down and if feel good

Bingo. Just tried it and finally have some control over this analog stick.

Maybe the sens is made more for motion controls. First game I'd ever had to go to lowest setting.

Def going to try motion controls down the road again tho. Just having a hard enough time mastering the games mechanics o don't need something else to learn right now

Man, my internet today just can't gel with splatoon. Comm errors all afternoon. Sometimes I'm barely starting a match and other times, there's like 20 seconds left. Finished my first game in a few hours. Maybe I'll take a break tonight and hope it's better in the morning.

On a more gameplay related note, I think I really like the Dynamo Roller. I've been using it with a support role in mind and it's been working really well. Surprising people with the range of the flick is pretty fantastic, but you really have to preemptively swing it if you want to splat someone with it. The plus side, with the sprinkler, you get your own echolocator up fast so you can do just that. I love it.

They go hand in hand, you should at least go through the single player with them on. Could change your mind.

2 and half hours of splat zones trying to rank up. Net gain: 6 points. Saltspray Rig is so goddamn hard to reclaim when you lose it argh.

Huh? As is people will mix-max and everyone will wear the same mismatched outfit.

We should be able to choose our appearance.

Right now you can only do it based on brand though right? So each brand actually has a purpose. Min maxing would mean eventually a lot of the created content would go overlooked because everyone already has their OP set all in the name of competitiveness. Especially since it looks like theyr'e trying to keep players around by stringing along content.

E: Finally got the boots I wanted today, only to get this set of skills:

Spyke, I have 30,000 coins waiting for you!

The hell is wrong with those boots?!

Ink resistance lets you move at 80% of your normal speed in enemy ink. Maybe those 3 run speeds will let you move at 100%!

Miiverse has gone too far

say you want a Ninja Squid shirt, Ink Resistance boots and a Bomb Range hat. You can easily acquire these items and use them for your Inkling to get a competitive advantage even though you might not necessarily like the look of the gear. How would it affect balance if you could choose what your gear looks like? There would be more diversity in outfits since everyone wouldn't wear the same two or three items (because of the main abilities)

Yesterday I beat the first two worlds and leveled up to 9. Today I tried out the motion controls again and have got to level 11 and ranked up to C. Have to go to work soon but am looking forward to getting back into it. Yesterday I played with the splattershot guns and the roller but since joining ranked matches have gone with the charger which I'm finally getting the hang of. Still not performing as well with motion controls but am going to stick with them for a while as I am slowly improving with them.

I'm am having an incredibly hard time feeling comfortable with this right analog stick.

What sens do you guys use. I have it at -3 now to feel like I have any sort of control rather than flicking my aimer everywhere.

I'm considering going back to motion controls

-3 with motion on here. Stick to it and find a comfortable position, you'll get the hang of it eventually. Without any aim assist that we've been so accustomed to, gyro just gives another level of precision that the sticks don't have.

【速報】WiiU『スプラトゥーン』無料アップデートで『イカ娘』コラボコスチューム配信決定!!!

Breaking news! A free update for Splatoon with a Squid Girl costume has been determined!

Yep, that's what it says alright. We gonna squid girl soon

I don't really like the standard roller compared to the Dynamo Roller. Why were there level 1s joining the room? I'm assuming they aren't people from anyone's friend list.

GGs everyone, gonna eat dinner.

And that .1% loss was BS.
