I think it is the only weapon that flat out sucks.
It can cover turf and create paths fast like a charger though, so that's good the only good thing about it.
Stealth-ing people with fast fire weapons is great. Especially in port mackerel when you can mindgame the fuck out of people in those tight corridors.

Yeah at level 20 he can add a slot for 30k on any sub 3 star gear

Welp, I'm stumped. It says the connection test worked fine, & I was able to access the eShop just fine, but for some reason, it just won't let me connect to the server now. & googling error code 104-0196 doesn't seem to work.
I don't know, maybe tomorrow I'll get lucky or something, but this makes no sense. Went from getting dropped from matches to working but with lag to not even wanting to connect.
At this rate, I should just blast through single player, then return the game. I finally take interest in online multiplayer & I can't even get the damn thing to work....

No, you can't.
Maybe it's something up with your router? Like some settings that the Wii U doesn't like very much. Try resetting it and see what happens.
There's no way the Rapid Blaster would be able to OHKO in any way possible. It takes like 2/3 direct hits to kill, let alone indirect lol.
And the normal Blaster wouldn't be able to OHKO off of burst damage ever. Damage Up isn't that powerful.

Well see, what happened was I played about 2 or 3 matches, I'd get "A connection error occurred", so I got the LAN adapter out & now my connection is wired. I then also changed the DNS to 8.8.8.4 (Google's) & while I would get lag/I'd shoot ink & it wouldn't show on the floor or wall until much later, I was able to last the entire match. Now, however, I can't connect PERIOD, including accessing the shops.
I tried resetting the router, so I don't know. I'll finish one more Single Player level & see what happens if I tried wireless again.
yup just looked around, seems like kill limits are hardcoded into the game.
what's even the point of damage up?!? maybe just capitalising on squids stuck in ink

Can't stop playing this game. Gettin sick of seeing aerosprays and krakon rollers in turf wars, though lol.
No kidding. I was facing off tonight against 3 guys with Aerosprays at Arowana Mall. Occasionally one of them ended up on my team, but regardless they whipped us real good for about the first 8 matches (all at the Mall). It was supremely satisfying to finally turn the tables on them when the game decided to take us to Blackbelly Skate Park. They just didn't have the range to compete in open areas.
I don't know how to feel when I go 7-0 in Turf War in a minute, die once, and then get driven all the way to our base. Probably the same feeling I should feel when our Roller goes 0-4 in the same timeframe since they won't cover our own base.
At least I finally broke the loss streak. Don't know why I stuck with that lobby. I just felt the need to win ONCE with weight on me? >.>

They counter Defense Up.
I think they are helpful for chargers (not fully charged) and rollers (splash attack damage). Also helps make the .52 Gal a 2HKO weapon if the opponent isn't using Defense Up.

Even if I can't reach the highs of the aerospray in points or kills, I feel like the splatshoot jr. is more consistent, and the bubbler can be great at defending or swinging the tide of a match, at least much more than any of the aerospray specials.

Anyone else having disconnect problems? This is fucking horrible, 3 matches 3 disconnects.
I guess I'm a weapons-hipster, because this is precisely why I don't use either of them. Just for kicks in one session of a couple matches, I tried out the Aerospray RG, and our team easily stomped and I top-scored in every match. But...that's no fun when I already see 30,000 other people using it and being successful. Variety! That aside, it seems like for all my experimentation with other stuff, I keep winding up back with the .52 gal and .96 gal...maybe I should just stick with what works for me.

GAF does not actually hate the aerospray lol, many of us use it.
Expect to get a lot fewer points in genuinely strong rooms though. The Aerospray's a lot more balanced when people are actually trying to defend their territory instead of everybody just painting over the same turf over and over and over for 3 minutes as is the case in many random rooms.

That's brilliant. I always forget I can jump back to spawn. Gotta try and remember that. Thinking back, it would have been a really smart option in a lot of the games I played today.

Yeah, if I don't have luck tomorrow, guess I'll contact them.
Weird thing is, I have a 360 & PS3 that've worked just fine as well. Plus my Vita (which I THINK I've played online before?) & 3DS also have worked just fine for online. So I don't know why the Wii U is having trouble.
I should also test it with MK8 to see if it's not just the game. Again, it said the connection test was fine & I could access the eShop just fine.

The connection is particularly shitty today. I've had lots of disconnects and my connection is stable.
I had issues with 3ds working properly while all my other systems were fine. I called Nintendo and they took remote control of my router, changed some settings around and it's worked flawlessly ever since.
