Splinter Cell 4 X360 images

Ok. I've just skipped about 4 pages here in this thread. I'm assuming I haven't missed much else, as I don't think it's within GAF's capability to actually pull itself out of a stupid, petty debate comparing screenshots of MGS4 with anything else on this planet and attacking/defending the framerate, polygons, etc. If I'm wrong, please alert me and I'll go back and see what I missed.
And thank you to whoever brought out the banstick on this thread. Thank GOD... is this shit only gonna get worse during the PS3/REV launches?
Jerkface-- that'd be badass. Like picking up armour from prison guards during the jailbreak, etc. This stuff COULD be sweet, but somehow I don't think Ubisoft is gonna deliver that much just yet. Maybe for Splinter Cell 5: Seal Clubber.
This game should be badass and as someone pointed out earlier-- the stuff involving Africa looks amazing. Having to decide who lives, who dies, etc in the middle of tribal warfares? Fuck yes. I just can't believe they're going to try and put this on the PS2.

The following pages is where the hell break loose and it all started with insecure Xbox fanbois flaming MGS:4 for no reason whatsoever in a thread about a completely different game. In return the MGS fanbois HAD TO defend their game of choice, but you can't blame them for starting this shit because they did not.

I like how Sam Fisher is in this position now. His character role before didn't appeal to me. Now he is put in a position where its just him against everyone. That despiration I think makes his character much more appealing and more relatable.

The hell? That's not even remotely the same. That has nothing to do with the actual game. The model used while the game is running on Dreamcast is nowhere near that level of detail.
The Silent Hill 3 picture is simply an anti-aliased shot taken directly from the game. Nothing else was modified or changed. That's exactly as if appears. It's not a tech demo and it's not "enhanced" in any way (the model).
Here's a capture I took of Silent Hill 3 running. Yeah, it obviously is nowhere near as clean...but image quality was the ONLY thing that was touched up. That is not the case with that SM2 pic, which has nothing to do with the model used during the game.
Here's a Shenmue 1 pic (SM1 or 2, doesn't make a damn bit of difference in terms of model quality)

Actually, since MGS4 seems to be such a big problem these days... that rule should spread into all 360 threads since I've only seen like two cases ever where it wasn't used to try to start a flame war. And both of the times it was dark10x who did it appropriately.

I think most GAFers are intelligent enough to decipher when it's appropriate and when it's not. God, at least I hope most are. But I've been disappointed before.
Obviously, in a multi-console discussion thread it's fine as long as it's not used for the sole purpose to start a flame war. (Ex: "I think MGS4 is the best looking next-gen game! Sure as fuck rapes that Splinter Cell crap" or "I always liked Splinter Cell better anyway. Kills interactive cutscenes, anyway!")
Well, you show me an example of where discussing MGS4 in a SC4 360 screenshot thread has ever been a good idea. I mean, I'd like to be proven that GAFers can be civil about it but I've never seen a case when it comes to these specific thread types. Both camps are just ridiculous.
P.S. I wasn't actually saying these policies were going into place, just that I think it would solve the problems here. In my personal opinion, this entire thread is garbage. I don't think there's a single page that survived the fanboy battle.
