People need to not bite on every piece of bait, seriously. Reading through this thread is pretty painful, and it really shouldn't have to be this way. A jab here and there is one thing, but even complete fanboys should be able to tell that there is something wrong when discussions regarding the actual thread topic are being shoved aside in favour of discussions of another game completely.

I thought I read somewhere that sony said "no thanks", give us next year's version.oatmeal said:It would be a shame if this doesn't come to PS3, mainly because of the new badass story.

Maybe they thought it would be considered outdated by the time the ps3 launched or maybe they didn't like the looks of it when it was submitted.urk said:I haven't read that. I can't believe that Sony wouldn't want Double Agent for the PS3 launch.

Foil said:Looks shitty? The backdrop in that second pic is damn photo realistic.... They seem like scans though as the quality isn't too good.
It was just a rumour one of the sites started to get some hits IMO. But even if not, maybe its constrained by supporting current-gen systems?urk said:I haven't read that. I can't believe that Sony wouldn't want Double Agent for the PS3 launch.
:lol They both definitely aren't launching in March.urk said:They both launch Spring 2006.
Might also be the reason for increase japanese support for the 360, see Namco's crappy efforts. Then again we've all heard increasing whispers of Sony having strict quality control (ie. it needs to be next-gen). That could be a serious positive for us gamers but a catalyst for greater X360 success.
The first one put me to sleep but I'd be willing to give the series another shot if they can produce the visuals from that multiplayer X05 demo.I don't like Splinter Cell but those two shots look great. It sounds like they're taking a big change in direction with this game and it could work really well, IMO
