thanks for the pic (looks pretty good) and have a nice trip

Holy shit that looks HOT.

This game will be a reason I get a 360 most likely.

Although, I feel kinda funny seeing Fisher behind bars. It's not right.

Doesn't look that much different technically from the SC3 on PC, so it's probably either a PC version or regular Xbox (the screen ratio would suggest this also)

I was kinda expecting a different look and feel after that trailer, but this kind of location is probably not representative of the whole game.

Uh, well - the shots are on paper, thats folded - with bad lighting and reflections and refractions that will look nothing like it does on my sweet TV.

I think it looks good from what little we can see here.

Also, this series has some great animation. I can't wait to see this in action. The folds on his shirt look cool.

I sure hope, regardless of what these screenies are from - that it comes out on the 360 and rocks.

I think the most impressive thing is that this is(prolly) actually current gen...If so holy mother of god what will it look like on Xbox 360.

If you look at what they did with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on Xbox..

Looks....different.

I've still barely played even the first SC. What's the general consensus on this series? Does it maintain its quality or dip (supposedly) like Prince of Persia?

I've loved every single one more than the previous, and I loved the first one.

But hey, that's me. People complain about Sam not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, but that's actually not the case. I hit my targets most of the time, and I rarely miss taking out a light or camera.

The series is great. If you haven't played the first, give it a shot at least. You may not like it (it is not easy - especially on the hardest level), but if you do - you will have a lot of fun with it.

So I guess the story of Sam going to prison and then having to break out was true? Pretty cool :)

Someone translate the Killer Instinct column!

They're all good/great games, but if you had to rank them:
3 > 1 > 2

I think the X360 version will look better. Think King Kong on current gen consoles + PC compared to the X360 build.

There are some obvious current-gen looking things in these shots. Those weighs he's being pressed with for example, they don't look very round at all.

.... :lol

I'm guessing you don't go to the gym huh?

Basically its the rumour section of the mag.

Killer Instinct 360
Peter Moore confirms the news that two previous unannounced Rare games are being released for Xbox 360. He does not want to say which games but trustworthy rumours speak of a new Banjo-Kazome and a new Killer Instinct.

Tekken Tag 2 for Ps3
People with good memory will remember the gorgeous looking Tekken pictures from the PlayStation 3 demonstration during E3. Now rumours are saying this wasn’t Tekken 6 but Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which will feature characters from all previous titles in the series and support up to four players at once.

All the weights I've ever seen were completely round :\

If i'm wrong and they intended to make them non-rounded, still doesn't change that the screens simply have an overall technical look of SC3 (on PC).

The AI in the third one is very interesting. Most advanced AI I have seen in a game IMO with how the people react.
F.E.A.R. disagrees with you. But yeah Splinter Cell's 3 A.I is pretty awesome.

Most gym weights are hexagonal/ >insert shape< so that they don't roll around and kill people. ;)

Use whatever else you want to determine the "gen" origin... just not that.

I have to say I find these shots disappointing, not at all what I would have expected from a Next Gen Splinter Cell. I'll put it down to not enough time with real hardware and it's relatively soon release date into the 360's life. Sam looks unrecognisable to me.

1st one good.

I think each one has improved on the previous effort myself, never understood why PT got so much heat but whatever.

Looking at the pics again....yeah, theres something "Xbox" about it. Probably the models. See if anyone can translate the articles and tell us whats up.
