Splinter Cell: Deathwatch Trailer

Oh, the irony that Michael Ironside stopped voicing Sam Fisher due to his age and now Sam Fisher is finally depicted as an old man and it's not Ironside doing the voice.

It's not a game, so...

Looks...fine...like I'd give it a chance.

Maybe in the 2030s we'll actually get another game though.

Yes I totally want to watch a fucking netflix cartoon instead of playing new Blacklist-like Splinter Cell, you know me so well Ubi

I see a lot of people complaining there is no game, I mean I even mentioned it in my OP. But let's face it, modern Ubisoft would have made Splinter Cell into an open world game where you capture towers and is that what you really want??

Honestly, I would rather just have this animated series and my memories of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, one of my favorite games of a bygone era of stealth action

It's absolutely tragic we didn't get more Michael Ironside voiced game characters. The man's voice is legendary and the Splinter Cell series wouldn't have been as downright amazing without him. At least we got what we did, I'm grateful for that.

They can't figure out how to make SC open-world and have 14 different activity icons on the map
I'd like to say that the success of Mafia Old Country would convince them to change their mind and see that linear sp games still sell, but the fuckers won't change. Same way they were disappointed with PoP Lost Crown sales, not understanding that a 60€ metroidvania is a tough sell.

What in the actual fuck. Looks like a King of the Hill character.

MJ from Spiderman 2 is in this?

this is out, anyone watching it?

Yeah, decided to give it a chance. I am not super fond of the artstyle, it seems that all these Netflix "made" anime have that style, but the story so far I'm digging it.

When it started off I thought....bro not like this, as in it seemed Fisher wouldn't be in this, and then it's not even SC, now is it?
Basically they are going with Old Man Fisher here, and depending on how this season ends when it comes to him it could be great.

Two episodes in and I'm definitely enjoying this.

It's plenty bloody and violent too. It's definitely not tame in that regard, good.
