Yep. I don't know how they would've gotten that to work in the end, but man I wish it was there!

The shot of Krennic walking through the battle would've been badass.

This too, but I don't know what context it would've had to go along with it.

There's not gonna be an extended edition. Neither for this, or for The Force Awakens.

Some fans will probably try to hack one together if Deleted Scenes are high enough quality, but I'm pretty sure we're at the point now where what you get in the theater is what you get.

I thought Forest Whitaker was downright terrible. I would remove him from the movie completely if I had my druthers. He was so out of place and he played the role way too hammy. Some actors just don't work in certain roles. I strongly feel that Forest Whitaker didn't mesh with this movie. Just like Edward Norton shouldn't be in any period pieces. It's not because they're bad actors but because they don't work. Al Pacino or De Niro in Star Wars? Would be a travesty. For that matter, Jimmy Smits doesn't fit either.

Whatever accent he was using was terrible. It felt like Whitaker was doing Shakespeare in Space.

Genuinely felt the movie underutilized him and gave him bad lines to top it off. He didn't have much to work with

I remember his voice sounding like Doc Greene from my kids' Transformers: Rescue Bots show. I don't know if that is accurate but I remember fleetingly thinking that during the movie. Maybe a Rescue Bot fan who saw the movie recently can confirm? Full disclosure: I enjoy Rescue Bots.

My main issue with the movie's editing concerns the sluggish and shifty first hour or less. Ending may have seen plenty of reshoots and such but I thought that it all played out well enough.
