I am going to make it through this year if it kills me
I know recently they started doing chain ads. Like three ads for every five or so songs. It's really annoying for people using the free service.

I pay pay premium so I don't worry.

I just manually switch songs right before the previous song ends. Never get ads! Annoying when I miss it by a half a second though.

When I tried Spotify a year or two ago it was horrible for people like me that listen to albums straight through rather playlists. Is it still so playlist-oriented?

It's never been terrible for listening to full albums, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Premium is where it's at. $10 ($5 for students, $15 for 2 family members) is such an amazing deal for what you get.

I wasn't even a big music guy before I got Spotify, and now I'm putting in 10k+ minutes per year o_O

It's never been bad for albums.

Find album (or find an artist and click on one of their albums), click song, hit play. Put it on sequential play or shuffle.

What part was confusing for you?

I have been a Spotify Premium subscriber for almost three years.

This is an interesting move by them, and I do not think that ad-supported users will like it.

As another album listener, there's also a really annoying bug where if there's an ad before the last song it won't play it.
