It was about 35 minutes of filler, mostly of previously-announced games and stuff that was already covered in previous japanese/european directs. The last 10 minutes was sort of a saving grace with a new M&L game and a new Mario Tennis. There was also a 3DS co-op Zelda game announced, more of Star Fox Wii-U (Now called Star Fox Zero), and Metroid returns... as a wierd 3DS spin-off.
That about sums it up. It was barely normal-direct tier. E3 2013 is still Nintendo's best E3 of the WiiU/3DS generation.
