Square Enix teasing their E3 booth

It's just gonna be stuff we already know about and if anything they'll show off their "new game" with a CG trailer and I guess sucker whatever group of people. Painting a pretty picture isn't going to do much for me however.

I was thinking of unlocalized games or ports like Type-0 but I guess without a platform holder backing it in the West it won't happen so fast. Oh well.

Only if it's announced for Wii U. FFVI 3D or BBS Vita wouldn't be huge surprises (although pleasant ones).

We might get DQ VII announced. Maybe.

That's as much as I'd expect from SE Japan for new announcements for portables.
 
Dear god no, why on earth do people want a FF7 remake on the 3DS or Vita. I dont want a FF7 remake (yes there are things that could be fixed) the game we got is still great. but If SE panics and does remake then it's got to be on a grandiose scale, not some handheld.

Of course looking at the two options, the a huge scale console remake has much more potential for disaster, AKA turning the game into Advent Children.

I'm more interested in what kind of tone they will create. FFVII was a lot sillier and self-aware than the FF games that came after it, and mixed so different visual styles that it will be extremely hard to do something that pleases the FF fans of then and now. This is also a problem with FFVI if they decide to go high budget with a remake.

I feel that DQ is dead in the West unless Nintendo handles localization. Which is pretty annoying but what can you do.

The Stella in her avatar is the old one though. Looks like Versus won't make it :(

I actually don't think I've seen someone with an avatar of the new Stella design before.

I know its the "old" Stella. But it has a color change. Looks like an upgrade. Which means the basic stays the same but it will change its overall appearence. Versus on PS4 confirmed.
 
E3 expectations.

Versus trailer will be shown. Will contain GILGAMESH as sidekick to main villain. Obtainable summon later.

New FF game will be the long awaited for: FF: EPIC of GILGAMESH. A BERSERK FF game.

Type 0 will be localized for 3DS and Vita. More content and missions along with a expanded role for GILGAMESH adding him as the 15th playable character.

XIV trailer and gameplay and at the end a preview of the GILGAMESH questline with 1080p GILGAMESH CGI.

Lightning Returns features GILGAMESH as the final boss. It is impossible to win.

Drakengard 3 will include various weapons including the Excalipoor. Caim is a bonus character.

DQ7 Localization.

TWEWY2 for 3DS.

FFVII: Before Crisis 3DS remake. GILGAMESH is in this version and you get to fight him in the story.

Revival of various IP's such as Chrono series, VP series, Mana series, Saga series, etc.

Lord of Vermilion comes to Wii U.

And more.
