Honorary Canadian.
Just got a Squenix survey regarding FF7: AC. Now, call me ridiculous, but I'm guessing that this means a few thigs:
1) They're looking at different ways to market this aside from the UMD
2) It's definitely going to hit the states this year (it says so)

I'm willing to bet that they're going to release it on DVD as well. Meh, make of it what you will. I figured all of you would probably enjoy the fact that they're starting to really go head-first into marketing strategy and would be able to conclude a million different implications of this. You all know more about this shit than I do. I'm just excited.

last I heard they hadn't confirmed it as a DVD... only that it was going to be UMD.

Regardless, the survey also went into some questions about theaters... could lead to a small release as well in theaters, which would be 10x's better than a DVD.

They could be holding the UMD version back till they can put something about Crisis Core in it, like a trailer or short demo. That'd be a good selling point for it.
