Darker image looks more natural to me. Regardless, this is one of the best Star Trek movies ever made. It actually might be my first or second favorite.

All the next gen movies were terrible except for First Contact.
It actually might be my favorite Star Trek movie or my second favorite after Star Trek the Motion Picture which unlike most people I actually really liked.
