Yup. Gene absolutely hated that the studio's pulled a lot of power away from him for Star Trek II and afterwards because of stuff like this and how it performed. The 'militarization' from STII onwards was definitely for the best.

Just 1 through 4, and the extended 1 is on Paramount+ (the disc and digital right now is just the theatrical). They're apparently doing 5, 6, and Generations in the next set (finishing the movies with any TOS cast members), and then First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis.

I just saw it recently. I love this movie but yet I hate it. I'm always so conflicted on it.
