I liked the gameplay and overall everything...what I don't like is the lightsaber...it doesn't feel....good? The color I mean...

I really want to like it... buuuuuut... the combat is just so slow and it feels like there isn't any tension. Slowing down time would be neat if there were any actual challenge already, but from what we saw it was completely unnecessary. Then there's the lack of limbs or anything getting cut off when dammit it's a fucking lightsaber!
It would've been so cool if this mission started off as you using the force to get yourself into the complex. Maybe use a disguise and trick people ala A New Hope. You know, some of that "Not the droid and hip young Jedi you are looking for" action.
This is just kind of meh overall, and doesn't show case anything in particular that is gonna wow you. Everything is just serviceable. I feel so spoiled looking at graphics and saying that, but at the end of the day, it's about gameplay.

Yep, in one of the segments the player is fighting against stormtroopers and the blaster bolts fly so slowly -- without Jedi powers -- that a walking strafe at about 15 feet away is enough to dodge them.

We do, but when you played so many of them, it is hard to see something different in a game which looks and plays like a ton of other games you've played before.

It is 1313 at the end of the gen and if the combat, Jedi skills and level progression plays out like this, I will be stoked. The shift to Unreal Engine 4 has helped here but I love the fact Respawn have kept the 60fps aim on target with the X footage, they are EA new star team it seems.

Why does every character need to be a "Choose your own adventure" book? I mean a good moral choice system can be cool, but it doesn't need to be in EVERYTHING.

On technical level it's look amazing, very good graphic etc but does not have any substance, very simple and shallow gameplay.

Difficulty was obviously at a minimum and the player character overpowered.
Come on guys, how are you even remotely surprised by this?
There is no way you'll be able to one hit every single storm trooper and kill the Sith dudes with 3 hits except if you perhaps choose the baby difficulty at the beginning.

It looked good but I'm not very excited. I wish you could cut limbs off with the lightsaber. Also it looked a bit too linear. I hope there will be parts without action in the game. Would be great to be able to walk around Coruscant or Mos Eisley and talk to people.

People have referenced Star Wars 1313. There was a Star Wars game where they had a quick teaser several years ago, I think Jade Raymond may have been the presenter? They showed a few stills. Was that Star Wars 1313 or was that a whole other Star Wars game entirely?

Looks good. Hope they have a CE for it. Always wanted a Star Wars game with a good story. Haven't got that recently.

It's not completely terrible just feels so uninspired.
I'm moderately interested in the story(not the main character)but the combat just looks like a slog of basic checking all the boxes with uncharted platforming mixed with "oh heres a perfectly positioned thing to force push" to proceed across this chasm. Okay.
The kylo ren force powers are painfully obvious ripoff. Not sure why he even has those powers. We've never seen the stuff kylo ren was doing then suddenly a random padawan has those powers too.
