GTX 1080

7 year old build here... Hoping for medium settings at 1080p 60fps.

[UPDATE] Playing the game at 1080p with the Medium settings preset, No resolution scaling. I'm getting a 25-30FPS.... My G-SYNC Monitor is doing some lifting to make it appear to my eye at around 30-50fps.
This was tested in the New Atlantis area of the game, as I assume that is the most demanding area. (Only 10hrs in)

Not Great, but playable enough for me.

I hope i can get 4k60 with some settings on medium and everything else maxed out

I5 13600k
4080
32gb ddr5 6000mhz

I'm already mentally prepared for 1800p60 tho (hopefully nothing lower than that), no way i'm gonna use fsr and fuck up the iq.

1440 native ultra. I started it with those settings and went to the main city and it never felt under 60. So I'm leaving it as is and not going to fuss over it. I am so having so much fun that for once the PC tinkering can take a backseat to playing the actual game. It's a new day! Looks great. Plays great. Gunplay feels great.

I wish I could upgrade my processor, but my Alienware will not let me.

I was hoping for some kind of bios hack that would let me do it.

Tears of Nintendo
8700K @4.8GHz (All Cores)
3080Ti
32 GB
GIGABYTE AORUS 7300 2TB NVMe

One of the reviewers claimed that 2080Ti paired with 3800X are running the game with 45-60 FPS using High settings @1440p, although he didn't mention wether it was with FSR or not.

I'm crushing the reqs, i7-13700k, RTX 4070Ti, 32GB DDR5.

Will that get me into 90+fps at 1440p though? I guess we'll find out tonight.

Going to try running it on my MinisForums 6900HX (680M) 32GB of ram.

See if how it fairs, if it’s crap then it’s the series x lol

Av been out of the PC game for over 10 years so 😬 a just need photoshop and that little PC does the job nicely.

No gamer chair and your lack of RGB gives me doubt you can run it
you're right my RIG doesn't have the RGB. my gpu has a white LED which makes me sad. well my mainboard has a color LED but just one hidden behind the cooler.

unfortuantly i only have the ikea chair so maybe i shall try the game to see what i can do then if not then ask steam for refund if i only play less than 2 hours!

The basic white LEDs were helping but then seeing you have an IKEA chair?

You're fucked man

Invest in one of these bad boys for a 20-30 fps performance boost:

Why are you all paying $100 for the early access edition!!!!

I am so pissed that even if i spend $70 for the game, its still not good enough to play it day one.

I got a free Premium code when I built my PC a couple months ago.

For what it's worth, there's a ton of premium codes on sale on Reddit B/S/T subs for ~$50.

So did my friend with his 7800x3d. we game share on steam but while he got to preload yesterday, im not seeing starfield under his game's list. i guess microsoft doesnt allow game sharing on this game.

I will wait till midnight to see if it unlocks, otherwise i will just buy the code from a reddittor. thanks for the tip.
