I get the feeling a lot of people are feeling the same way as I am and are waiting for reviews on this one. Despite recent positive impressions, there's been way too much negativity for too long for me to be confident of the title's quality.

When is this game actually coming out? EB says February 14th, but the update on gamespot from the Japan meeting says April 14th for US and April 24th for Japan.

Well, the good news is that with Outpost, chances are they aren't going to be shipping until a week or two after the reviews hit, so you'll have pleanty of time to cancel if it gets 6.8s.

Well, the good news is that with Outpost, chances are they aren't going to be shipping until a week or two after the reviews hit, so you'll have pleanty of time to cancel if it gets 6.8s.

I had that in mind when I put in my pre-order. This is a good price and it probably wont stick around. Often Outpost only does these lower prices for a day or so. It's easy to cancel the order later too if it comes to that.

After seeing the videos, especially the ones going through that green, forested planet, and the screenshots, I pre-ordered it from Outpost. For some reason, what broke me was this screenshot here:

It's just so beautiful. The graphics aren't mind-blowing, but I can just tell from that shot there that this game is going to have immense atmosphere.
