Nintendo reveals some new images of Star Fox Assault on GameCube. This play of action will mix traditional phases of shoot' EM up in space and of the missions on the ground in which Fox McCloud and its friends will have the possibility of using vehicles to fight the army Aparoid insect in the Lylat system. We discover some interesting weapons that our hero will be able to use during his adventure such as Blaster, Censor Bomb, of the Grenades, Homing Launcher, the Machine Gun, Plasma Cannon and Sniper Rifle for zoomer on its enemies. Very pretty Artwork of a scene of aerial combat is also available!

The screens look like they are from the older build, because there are better scrren out there,.

That HUD is awful. Hopefully it can be edited.

They did an excellent job with AC4 and AC5 on PS2 but this look terrible, I don't know where they are going with this...

Well ive seen my share of bad textures on most ps2 games so i dont know why the sudden bad texture comment.....

no, AC4 was released a few years back and personally its my favorite PS2 game.

AC5 was released in October, so yeah they might have developed Starfox and AC5 simultaneously

go see the ign movies, they sure look better than those screens, i thought that after all this years, pple with gamecubes should know by now that gc captures most of the times look worse compared to the game footage. The ign movies sure prove this....the forest flight level looks great.

no it didn't, most of the people who worked on AC4 made AC5. AC5 had a new producer who did a lousy job

Maybe you wouldn't have had that tag for so long if you didn't continually reinforce it.

And how is a HUD that takes up almost 1/3 of the screen "insignificant shit"?

This is what crappy screen grabs can do.

The complaints are largely about the HUD, not the graphics.

I have. The game is really nothing spectacular. Not like I need amazing graphics in a Starfox game. I just need a decently executed style and this does that.

the pictures in the first post look like complete dog shit. what a joke so far. after seeing games like RE4, metroid and the new zelda, it makes me wonder whether namco still has the talent to take advantage of hardware
