Season still hasn't ended in the U.S... We just got the episode with the 10,000 year old wraith.

Overall I thought it didn't resolve enough. I kinda hate season finales where they basically just make everything fucked up just so people have to wait. B5 spoiled me in having decent season endings, I guess.

Anubis, in his unaccended form[/spolier], also I love how SG1 answers questions about stuff that happens on Atlantis nd they doe spell it out, ie. [when Anubis takes over his new body, that was the same form that was sucking the power out of Atlantis, as well as hinting at the Wraith/Ancients being one and the same.

I thought the Stargate movie was okay, and I don't watch the Stargate TV shows, but I think it's pretty amazing what they've done with the Stargate franchise.
I'm a huge fan of the Stargate series(see name). So far in the US we've just started the second half of the season. I know I could d/l them but I like stretching it out. I admit that if I had started to watch the series now, I might still like the show, but it wouldn't have grabbed me like the early episodes of the series did. So I'd highly recommend for any new viewers... to wait for the sci-fi channel to start over on season 1 and watch from there. If you like sci-fi even a little, you'll love the beginning of the series. When you experience this stuff for the first time... so are they. There are a few episodes like Torment of Tantalus and the season ending finale that are just amazing. You really feel the scope and scale of what they are opening up the earth to.
I would have gone so far to say it was the best episode in the stargate universe ever, but then Reckoning Part 2 (SG-1) aired last night, and god damn, it beat it.
Also i dont like how the two series arent really gelling together, SG1 kinda left it like there wouldnt be a space flight to pegasus for a long while, then we hear there is one and it will get to atlantis in 3 days? Then theres the whole 500% power increase to the generator...wtf? For about 20 minutes i honestly thought it was some elaborate farse.
But after that it was awesome, cant wait to see how it turns out, i imagine the daedalus will turn up and they'll manage to get Atlantis fully operational again.
