TLOU Part 1 was perfect. They should have stopped there. Story was ruined with Part 2. Part 2 even ruined Part 1 for me. I can't play that game anymore because of the sequel.

We started from PS3 and now like 15 years later we are still talking about the same remasters of the 2 games
PS3,PS4 ,PS4 pro , PS5 and now probably PS5 pro will have remakes and remasters of the game.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that Bend got cooked with multiple failed projects. This is a team rebuilding exercise with the simplest thing they can crank out to keep staff occupied and pay their salaries while they rebuild and plan their next project from scratch. But who knows, maybe there's a TV show coming.

-A UE5 game (likely the Days Gone remaster)
-A Decima game (new IP)

Days Gone is also being made into a movie.

It's amazing how Sony ran both Horizon but especially The Last of Us into the ground.

No one here is talking about Shadow Fall....of course it sold like shit,it was the worst Killzone game and it was a rushed PS4 launch game,what did people expect.

Killzone 2 however is a masterpiece both in sp and mp and deserves more recognition and exposure. A high value remake of that would do more for Sony's bad rep lately than yet another Horizon game(and I actually love both Horizon games).

I'm sorry for you. Because Part 1 deserves some re-play from time to time. TLOU2? Aside from combat mechanics, it sucked big fat ass.

Luckily for me... Somehow when a story is so crappy I forget like 95% of it because it's usually pure bullshit.

I barely remember what happened on Part II, especially after the first quarter or something, the story went on for so long with so much bullshit that made the most pointless The Walking Dead's episode feel alright.

I didn't love it but it wasn't completely bad either. Some notable moments for me were Lunar Remasters or whatever, I always get choked up about that since it holds a special place in muh heart lol. Finally will be able to play that on a modern console. Alan Wake 2 dlc seems neat, Archeage looked promising. The Legacy of Kane and Dino Crisis stuff was cool, and Soul Reaver might be good. I also thought Ghosts of Yotei looked very pretty and should be fun. Also the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata outfit and music was great lol. Dynasty Warriors Origins also has my attention in a big way. And finally being able to play Fantasian is going to be great.

Uncharted V:
prequel with some lost Drake an Sully adventure, going back to the tight corridor shooter gameplay showing off top of the line mind-blowing new graphics engine.

God of War Osiris:
same, going back to the old style, the most extreme boss rush hack and slash, old ass fuck Kratos gets tired of all the nordic bullshit and somehow ends up in Egypt fighting aliens and animal-like gods after discovering a bunch of Stargates inside the pyramid's labyrinth.

Killzone IV:
same, some sort of total Killzone II reboot. This one has real life graphics. Like totally real.

You better not fuck it up again Sony, or else....

Edit: The State of play ends with a teaser of "Team Asobi presents Astrobot Time Machine drayage services Long Beach". From now on all Team Asobi's games will have a title like that, ala Hideo Kojima.

I’m hoping this is more of a warm-up, clearing the way for a bigger, all-out showcase later in the year, perhaps for the 30th anniversary.
