Lets not be silly now, he can't suspend elections. The president lacks that ability.

Who said anything about the "President?"

This is such BS and fear mongering

I spit on bush *pattooey*

And how can people eat up this contrived applause and shit?

Ugh

We would never tolerate this kinda crap in Canada

***I say this EVERY year*

We've got to kill 'em and eat em'
Before they reach for their checks
Squeeze some blue collars
make them bleed from their necks
Seize a few dollars from the people who sweat
Cause it's freedom or death and they won't question it
At a job site the boss is god like
Conditioned workhorses park at a stoplight
Seasoned vets with their feet in nets
A stones throw away from a rock fight
But not tonight, feed 'em death

Oh Bad Religion, how true you are

And here is why the democrats have problems - we have this talking puppet fossil with less personality than Bush trying to provide an image.

The democratic response is putting me to sleep....

P.S. I don't give a shit if little Timmy from Searchlight wants to be like you.

Good god the democratics could have input text into two robots and they would have done just as good of a job.

Well, no shit. But this may be the first time in history where I can say Bush has publically outspoken the competition in keeping interest piqued.

Exactly the opposite -- the Dems don't have an image problem, they have a message problem. Or to be precise, a problem in delivering a message and actually having it resonate with voters across the country.

The pushing of the constitutional banning of gay rights was the thing that pissed me off the most. Then he had the audacity to say that they must protect the right to life. >:/

It was funny how he tricked some people into clapping for privatization.

"Hey, okay, we DO need to reform welfare. Well, that's- HEYWAITAMINUTE!"

No, they have both. They have a problem with image, a problem with never presenting energetic speakers, and not delivering a message that is strong enough for people to care. You can't ever expect your message to resonate with everyone, but you can present a message such that people want to hear what you have to say.

I can't believe we have a president who is so actively hostile to the very concept of a judiciary. When's the last time we had someone like that? Andrew Jackson with his Trial of Tears?

Someone needs to remind this dick that he's a president of a republic, not the benevolent dictator that acts like. Someone also needs to make this guy take a 5th grade civics course so he can learn what the Constitution stood for and why we have three branches of government.

Well, let's just agree that the Dems have problems all around the map right now, eh? :) :lol I have confidence that the 2004 election beatdown will provide them with renewed vigor, though.

People already pick and choose which part of the constitutions is "no longer necessary". Might as well throw the whole thing out of the window.

Well, in a sense that is true, but the founders of the country who wrote the constitution made a skeleton, and did it on purpose for future generations to flesh out and adapt to the time periods. Things change, and they were smart enough to make a document that was able to adapt to changing times. In some cases, they arent necessary and it's necessary for things to be added instead. No need for another consitutional convention, dont go crazy...

Think his better public speaking is due to Bush writing his address in crayon nice big colorful words are easy for him to read.

Community college is a great place to start for millions of people that, for what ever reason, don't have any other type of higher learning. Not the whole world's got education at it's nimble fingertips, ready for the taking. So, don't offend me and others by knocking it.
