You're 18, I didnt' have my first girlfriend till I was about 18... you have plenty of time to meet more women, so just throw out all your 'sentimental' stuff, delete her screenname, don't return her calls or IMs, don't bother with her, and move on. Take up a new hobby or something (videogames?), start going out more, call up and hang out with people you haven't seen in a while... It's really tough to do in theory, but once you do it, you'll be MUCH better off for it.

Yeah, I ignored her yesterday and she seemed annoyed by that. Told her I was adding shit to my computer that all got deleted which I was. Eventually she lets me know "I'm leaving, bye". Tell her "ok, later". and she says bye again with "yeah, later...". I almost made the mistake of trying to get close with her again. Not gonna happen. A good friend I met through her and moved away from also, gave me the advice that the best you can hope for with an ex is to eventually be on good terms and be able to be in the same room with em one day. He doesnt think you could be friends with them though. There is nothing good coming from talking to her and having her tell me about Mike constantly and talking to me about old shit. We have no friendship as of now, no ties, and it would be stupid digging myself back into that shit. She's nicer now, good for her, But Im not a part of who she is today and never will be. Hanging on to the very edge of contact is just stupid and depressing
