There are a LOT of them these days. Maybe I was thinking of Indie Gala? This is shockingly mediocre selection for Bundle Stars.
I think you're confusing them with Bundle Bandits?

With that attitude you must be missing out on a lot of games.
Good lord Shadwen is baad, feels like a prototype/proof of concept at this point. Can't believe it's an actual demo.
Not like this, Frozenbyte.
there's a difference when the devs themselves push people to shill for them in the game.
What attitude exactly? When hundreds of people use the exact same phrase to advertise a game, without actually saying anything meaningful about the game, it has a negative effect on my desire to play the game.
Spare codes free to the lucky.
But you could excuse every game like that. I mean Order could have an endless survival mode, but it still would just be a 4-5 hour shooter.
The Order was a bog standard third person shooter, theoretically if it had an endless mode people still wouldn't have been interested.
Super Hot has some unique and compelling mechanics, that argument is predicated upon people wanting to play indefinitely.

I thought the order was pretty good. I would have loved a endless mode for it.
SUPERHOT is incredible there aint no way around it
The Suffering lead designer Richard Rouse III has announced an ambitious narratively-driven stealth adventure called The Church of Darkness.
Ellen McLain and John Patrick Lowrie not only play a married couple in this, but actually are a married couple in real life too.
Billed as a "top-down action-infiltration game" The Church of Darkness' main appeal is that the story significantly changes with each playthrough.
The game is set in 1970s South America where a cult of US citizens has relocated to set up camp and practice their beliefs free from the persecution of the US government. You play as an ex-cop who has travelled to the cult's camp Freedom Town in hopes of bringing back your nephew Alex.
The Church of Darkness is in development for PC and Mac with plans for PS4 and Xbox One ports to follow. So far Paranoid Productions is targeting a release early next year.
I wonder if you thought Theodore Rex was good
By the way your Disgaea avatar just bopped 3 guys in a row on their turn. I've created a monster! One that's also gaining all the xp so I might need to balance things around a bit more.
Wont refund a 7$ game, but would have feel burned if I would have spend 30.
I meanafter the game there is an endless mode and challenges, but the price still feels quite high.
"10% of the Net Revenue generated by advertising in relation to The Forgotten God Gamebundle is paid to SPECIALEFFECT.ORG.UK. It is expected that we will pay between $500 to $10000 in total."Did you guys see this bundle already?
This.
People called me out for saying my 2hr thing was way too short
Yeah uh
The game itself is still ridiculously short.
The issue is the concept isn't good enough for a 5hr game. Really, it should just be priced better.
I liked the animatronics, that's about it though. Good to hear my avatar is doing well. I tend to work pretty well in games. I'm still alive in Rhaknars Darkest Dungeon and Khronicos Xcom 2 I believe.
Sooo...when did the Zachtronics guy go to work at Valve? I assume it was a long time ago and I'm just dumb and missed it. Kinda sad as I assume that means no more crazy games from that studio.
Good stuffIt was actually my XCOM 1 playthrough before my inevitable purchase and playthrough of 2 with all the surviving participants.
I actually beat the campaign about a week ago and you survived.
Let's uh... Let's not talk about the playthrough before that.
- everyone complains about backlog
- everyone complains about short games
you people don't make sense
who gives a crap about length
game did and does more for me than some long-ass 15 hour same ol thing like Rise of the Tomb Raider or something
you people are weird. I'd rather be entertained with something novel than just waste time of my life playing something I already played
plus talking about endless and challenge (plus more stuff coming) as "extras" is weird. It's the actual meat of the game, easily, and you get what you put in out of it. I've had more fun with the gameplay ever since I finished the short campaign.
I didn't like RotTR either
Salsa
I actively hate games if their design isn't top notch- or rather, I say they're mediocre
Superhot is a very fun game. It is not worth $25
It is worth $9.50

how is price = length?
price should be reflective of how good the game is and how much effort they put into it
game doesnt have stellar tech or anything so it's not AAA price, but it does something from a mechanics standpoint that is both hard to implement and really innovative
it's more than worth it's price, and they set it at that for a reason
the campaign is one mode
I will never complain about short games because I will never play them.
The Witness is easily worth $40. It's a large, incredibly well and intricately designed game.Next he's going to try and convince us The Witness is worth $40!

I don't believe in judging games by play time, but just for the record I've played The Witness for roughly 50 hours and am still not completely done with it.
your loss
what a weird mentality
I'd include street fighter v too because selling that for full price is shameful.I do find it interesting how many games have caused discussions about pricing lately.
The Witness, Firewatch, Superhot.
Each conversation is pretty unique, too.
It's really poorly communicated"10% of the Net Revenue generated by advertising in relation to The Forgotten God Gamebundle is paid to SPECIALEFFECT.ORG.UK. It is expected that we will pay between $500 to $10000 in total."
Currently sold: $56, in 5 hours.
You're... not doing a very good job advertising your bundle, I think, guys.

And now you are cursed with your trading cards taking 2 hours longer to drop.I know one thing, I bought a game for 99 cents because I thought it was super hot. It wasn't so I refunded it.
People learn bad habits from the gaming side.i dont understand why this community is consumed with drama every quarter or so. can't people just play games and not be jerks?
Oh cool, I didn't get my day 3 code so maybe this time.https://support.sega.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/207799725
Looks like they will be sending out keys again.
Level length is a problem too, at least for me. I still haven't finished Alice Madness Returns because the levels feel like they are about one thirds too long.Talking about game length, there are quite a few that overstay their welcome more than they should.

you can say the same thing about Devil Daggers
except that game is $5
No, but those games are older. If you start completely disregarding that, none of those games should even be considered because you could instead buy Planescape:Torment.Play time, shmay time.
It's value that matters.
You can't positively think that The Witness (€37) has more inherent value than Age of Decadence (€28), Might & Magic X (€25) or TIS-100 (€7)
I can't believe I'm saying this but... I agree with Salsa on this one.
