Hey guys, I was told this was a good place to ask, hope you dont mind?
I am having a graphics issue.
I have my 1080p TV hooked up to my pc, which is set to 1080p, which is fine, but some of my games I cant read/see very well when they are set to 1080p, everything is too small. If I try to set them to a lower setting, I just get black bars round the edges, and nothing is clearer. I am running a radeon 6870 and catalyst, is there something I can do about this? Probably something in the scaling options, but I have been messing with it for a while and got nowhere.
Thankies!
I have my doubts that there are 250k active accounts without Metro 2033.
Edit: The entry, for the curious.
I can't offer much help since I don't have an AMD card, but does your TV have a dedicated PC input? If so, you could use that (it'll likely be DVI or VGA/D-Sub).
Yeah I got a VGA port, but wont that then limit my desktop to below 1080p?
I dont really wanna go fiddling with it too much as my wife uses it a lot, and changing cables and graphics would just be a hassle everytime.
Also VGA= no sound.
Did they change that from the original version? I have the non Steam port and it works perfectly.Picked up Vice City now that it's back just 'cause I've been jonesin' to play it just before they took it off of Steam. Mouse sensitivity is jacked, y-axis is super sensitive and adjusting sensitivity in the options only modifies the x-axis, so this is unplayable. Bleh.
I can't answer specifically but I had a similar issue when changing resolutions. Change the input mode on your TV and it should be fine; it's a settings issue on the TV is all.Hey guys, I was told this was a good place to ask, hope you dont mind?

Just bought, and am eagerly watching the download progress of Train Simulator 2013.
Someone kindly punch me in the fuckin' face.
Purchasing Trains vs Zombies 2 recently means I'm now obligated to purchase TrainSim 2013 and its plethora of DLC.
Possibly. VGA cables can handle 1080p just fine, but some TVs don't allow it over the dedicated PC input.
is there a modern day Homeworld equivalent?
I think there are probably 2-4 in-progress games, Kickstarter or otherwise, that seem to be aiming for that sort of game though. 0x10c and Star Citizen maaay fall somewhat in that category, eventually. It seems like space games are making a minor resurgence.is there a modern day Homeworld equivalent?
Not really, although Flotilla is kind of like a bite-sized tribute to Homeworld I suppose.is there a modern day Homeworld equivalent?

I remember that when it was still known as Imperium Galactica 3. Played the sh*t out of the demo. Some of the coolest space battles I have ever seen in a videogame.Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. The developer tried to kickstart a sequel, but AFAIK it failed to get enough funding.

I was under the impression that this released to horrid reviews and terribly broken gameplay. Of course I see the Steam score is 77/100. Anyone know it all the bugs were fixed?

Here's the counter: Winter Sale.
Counter-counter-point: With the Winter Saleless than three weekstwo weeks away, it's unlikely to get a deeper discount, but even assuming it goes for 75% off, that's a saving of a mere 90c.

The day we start taking advice from you on when to buy games is the day we all go broke.
90 cents is DLC for another game!
If you bought the Indie Royale with Weird Worlds you should go check your bundle page for a Steam key.
Apparently, that's the only one I didn't buy. Curse my luck.
And I already have it.
I found a few threads about it on the Steam forums with no real solution, but I've also found some other forum posts pre-Steam about it as well, so it seems like it was always the case.Did they change that from the original version? I have the non Steam port and it works perfectly.
Hitman is $30 on Gamestop/Impulse right now. Amazon will match it on Sunday, and they may even beat it.

This time last year we were unlocking cheevos.
Has anyone tried Air Buccaneers yet ?
Looks interesting, but I don't want to make the same mistake I made with Chivalry.
