I found Sanctum to be pretty boring after an hour or so, like most tower defense games. It would seem my friends felt the same as no one has really suggested it since.
It's pretty boring solo I'll admit. Get a full group going and the planning stage and fps wave defending action gets pretty intense.
Maybe you're just not interesting -enough-.He did. I was there.
We got our fill after an hour.

SimplyKyle needs to post here before I buy anything from that site.
There should be some sort of celebrity boxing between all the reps.
I forget the name of the origin one actually.
OriginJake.
The name Jake was focused tested and people responded really well to it.

Jake Inc. (NYSE: JKE) and Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today announced a new multi-year exclusive licensing agreement to develop and publish globally new usernames based on the wildly popular name Jake.
Under the agreement, EA will develop and publish new Jake-based usernames for a core gaming audience, spanning all interactive platforms, while Jake Inc. will retain certain rights to develop new usernames within the mobile, social, tablet and online game categories.
When pressed for info as to how the deal came together Jake Inc. suggested that the name Jake resonates well with the populace and licensing it exclusively to EA will allow them to focus on maximizing the yield from such a high profile product while not sacrificing quality.
Hear about what?
A site that's run by Kyle from Malta.
This actually sound legit omg
That Manhunt 2 is Steam redeemable ?
I'm interesting enough to make it through the entirety of Borderlands 2 and Dead Island with the same group.
Damn, I just burned Sanctum pretty damn hard with that.
It isn't; that's why I said R* needs to get to work (AFAIK it doesn't even have a registry listing).
Fun fact: Prior to Tony getting Amazon's paws on a DD version of the game a week or so ago, it hadn't been available digitally since Direct2Drive was swallowed up by GameFly in May 2011.

That you did.
I just give Sanctum credit for successfully merging tower defense and fps. Both elements work together as well as they should here (similar to what orcs must die did with it being essentially a tps). If that's not your thing then that's entirely your prerogative.
It was probably the sterile art that made it boring for you guys though right? Not gritty enough?
Sanctum? The game looks like a UT3 mod, with some of the most bland-looking weapon models and textures I've seen in about ten years. The game launched with a handful of maps. There's no "oomph" or feeling of impact when the creeps get hit.It was probably the sterile art that made it boring for you guys though right? Not gritty enough?

Oh boy Valve are awesome! I bought two of the Dota 2 t-shirts from the store but alas one began to fall apart after the first wash. After putting a ticket in asking if I could get maybe a voucher for my next order they went one further: Sent me a completely free new replacement t-shirt by DHL Priority which should be here in the UK in a couple of days.
Amazing!![]()

You can still gift it directly. So annoyed, wonder what flagged me? traded tons of games in the past
Kinda ruins the whole 2 for 1 deal.
The art had nothing to do with how boring it is.
I think Iron Grip does a much better job of combining Tower Defense and First Person Shooters.
It seems like we may never see the AO rated version that D2D were selling. Amazon is selling the M rated version. I am quite certain that the M rated version is using the graphics filters from the Wii version to suppress the violence that takes place during the execution sequences.
I love how the most common reason someone may not like a non-AAA/indie game nowadays is because they only like "über HardcoreXXX PAW PAW PAW BOOM BOOM BOOM gritty ultra mature brown" games. Said reason can also be replaced/extended with "You don't like X game? You probably buy every iteration of Call of Duty then, you're what's wrong with games today!"That you did.

Lamest way ever of defending your favorite crappy game.
I don't know man this looks pretty gritty
But look how much brown is in Iron Grip!
and before that he was talking about borderlands and dead island.

Then why does it say on your Steam profile that your favorite sex position is the "Screaming Seagull"???This is bordering on some pretty hard projecting at this point. Whether something is "gritty" has absolutely no bearing on if I find a something appealing.
It'll be released on steam as a preorder bonus for Red Dead Redemption /itwillneverhappen
I'm not much of a fan of MS Paint. Guess that makes me a fan of brown AAA software. But look how much brown is in Iron Grip!

Man, does anyone remember Giants: Citizen Kabuto? That game was the shit.

(I still have faith.)
Lego Batman 2, yay or nay?
I'm not much of a fan of MS Paint. Guess that makes me a fan of brown AAA software.
Yay. It's something of a sharp departure from the previous Lego games in that it's open-world rather than hub-based, and from the little I've played of the it, the voice acting isn't jarring and actually fits well with the children's cartoonesque nature of the game.
Reminder: Big? Amazon sale tomorrow.
That might be the only reason for me to get GTA5.
