That looks so good. Is it going to be standalone?
Gonna lurk for a Botanicula giveaway.
I have never been a big fan of indie games (never got around to them I guess), so recommend me some!
I like Terraria (2D) and not such a fan of Amnesia (horror games)
Preferably one on sale right now (there is an indie sale right?)

Yup,The narration and story is pretty good until the last 1/4 of the game.
Then they somewhat abrubtly end the story for characters you're supposed to care about and introduce a bunch more that you're suddenly supposed to give a shit about.
It is pretty damning when I can say that a four hour game drags on for too long.
I refuse to believe this. You can never get enough Mirror's Edge in your life.Heh, looks like the the thread has reached the saturation point with Mirror's Edge.

And okay, I'm a Terraria convert. Got the game on IOS. I had always kind of overlooked those 2D games because I assumed that the loss of a 3D world would remove depth and fun
Boy, was I wrong. Having played for two days, I can say 100% that Terraria blows Minecraft away gameplay-wise. MC has the better world for just uncharted exploration and vistas but Terraria has the awesome RPG elements, the awesome loot, and the awesome enemies.
Definitely going to have to get Terraria on PC now.

Check out Toma's Indie Games threads. Got like six months of nothing but indie recommendations and impressionsI have never been a big fan of indie games (never got around to them I guess), so recommend me some!

Already have Don't Starve, on the fence about Edge of SpaceIf you guys liked Terraria, them check out Don't Starve.
It is somewhat similar, but more focussed on survival elements, a rogue like, and from an isometric perspective.

Might just wait for Starbound instead
Oh, it's that kind of development pace?By then it'll be 2475 and we'll all be living in space anyway.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is actually pretty good.
It could actually break into my top 5 of the year, at least for the time being.
Isn't it on Unreal Engine 2.5? Why is Ubisoft so lazy about engines?
I'd personally rank as one of the better splinter cell games. Not as good as CT, but it is really solid. I love the pre-mission stuff, customization, controls and the level design is definitely the crowning achievement. Long, dense levels. It's also got Spies Vs Mercs. Unreal engine shows some age but it still is a decent looking game.Isn't it on Unreal Engine 2.5? Why is Ubisoft so lazy about engines?
And how would you rank it up against the most untouchable stealth game of all time, Chaos Theory, a game whose skill ceiling can't even be seen by human eyes it's so high?
Omg, Ubisoft probably doesn't even know how to write a codebase. All they can do is make uber casual games with win buttons.Well, Far Cry 3 is using Dunia, which is CryEngine 1 with modifications.
No sense in pumping money into a new engine if the old one can give you such results, is it?
Is it well optimized?I'd personally rank as one of the better splinter cell games. Not as good as CT, but it is really solid. I can't believe what a surprise it was. I had no hope for the game. But they really did achieve the classic feel of SC. Frustrating it was without Ironsides tho.

Specs, settings, frames?Runs really well on my PC.

So I've played a little of Anodyne, and it's real special for such an affordable game. It captures the sensations you had playing old games as a kid. Edge said "This is a game for those who grew up in Hyrule but spent more time in Lordran in recent years." and I agree with that.
It doesn't take itself too seriously and feels sort of old and new in different ways. It has a unique colour palette and a blissful score. For £3 it's a steal given the inclusion of cards.

I'm surprised some people don't own it yet.

It's been in several indie bundles, hasn't it?

I haven't played the original version of Double Agent (yes, I'm ashamed), but here's my ranking:
Chaos Theory
Splinter Cell
Blacklist
Pandora Tomorrow
Double Agent (360)
Conviction
So, no, it's not quite as good as the near perfect Chaos Theory, but it's still a damn fine game, and one of the better stealth games I've played in the last few years.
Only 1 more page to this paper and I can getmy fixback to Civ V.
I can't really say I'm a fan of this not-so-subtle stealth attack on Grief. Totally uncalled for :/Isn't it on Unreal Engine 2.5? Why is Ubisoft so lazy about engines?

Holy shit, Bioshock 2 just updated a beta build.
They are working on the weekend now? They must really be in crunch time.
