Monthly threads would work and should be fine with keeping it up to date.
If we do reach the end of the thread before the month we could always create a new thread and keep going, until the month ends.
Not sure about keeping track of all games coming out on Steam, as SteamDB can't track everything beforehand and the list would need daily changes in some cases... I'll give it a shot.

Not so much an exhaustive list, there's way way way too much stuff, but rather if there's a few games that came out it'd be cool to have their art and maybe if there are notable GAF impressions, quotes from GAF members or something. And for upcoming stuff, I guess anything with a fixed date that seems like a big deal. Don't feel like you need to put in significant work or anything, this isn't your job, so only do this if you want to. Just a reflection that it might be nice.

User submissions, would be quite nice. The rest seems fine and doable.

One thought I have re: monthly threads is to add a section to the OP showcasing new/upcoming releases or whatever flavor of the month game/indie bundle people are hip to at the time. As it stands, the OP is well done (of course, no disrespect intended to MrOrange at ALL) but it's the same old information each time and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I basically never look at it anymore.

Again, this is just me spitballing, it's not an external mandate, I don't expect a new thread to be created April 1st, it's and I haven't even talked to other moderators about it. But if other mods agree and the kind of people most involved in making threads here agree, I think it's something we'd do in the months to come.

Dark Souls Question : how high to you value mobility? I've been trying to stay under the 50% encumber rate, but just found some stone armor that will basically make me a walking tank. Emphasis on 'walking'. Haven't fully suited up to see how it goes though.

I'm already getting used to a slow axe to attack, I don't know if I could do slow movement AND slow attack.

Given that we're now at about 30 days per thread and shrinking, it might be useful to start looking at a monthly thread instead of ad-hoc new threads.

I'm all about this. You're right, the first 5 and last 5 pages basically become useless with 'new thread' stuff. A monthly thread should limit that. Also, PM'ing MRORANGE (or whoever) with a suggested thread title might trim some posts as well.

Tempted to buy Mirror of Fate as playing it on the 3DS at 15 FPS was horrible. I don't even know it was a good or bad game. Did enjoy LoS2 despite the flaws so I probably should.
