Are you a fan of the previous entries in the series? If so then you will most likely enjoy this one. The Arkham series are some of my favorite games. In my opinion Origins is not as good as the previous entries, but I do not think that it is a bad game. I am having a lot of fun with. I paid 20 dollars for the game and I do not regret my purchase at all. I have not encountered any bugs and the game runs perfectly for me. The game has a lot of awesome moments and I love that Batman is angry the majority of the time. If you are a fan of the series I'd recommend it. 10 bucks is a good deal for this game.

I activated The Orange Box on my account today. Got Half Life 2 and Episode 1 gift copies. Right when Steam went down I got a new item in my inventory. Another Episode 1 gift, just with the plain steam art. WTF.

(1) Why can't I get my controller to work with FF7? What black magic is necessary?
(2) I just got another response from the GMG/Playfire support team. I'm starting to get irritated now. I received a blanket response about the scraping issue that affected things recently... when my credits that are missing (the vast majority of) were from prior to this issue even occurring. I noted as much in my last update, where I took the time to be honest and save them them some work by removing the credits which had actually shown up when the scraper went back to correct the missing data for participants:

To prevent abuse the ability to purchase a priced item is removed when the discount is 100% or greater.

My understanding is that he's retrospectively acknowledging Microsoft forgoing PC gaming in favour of perpetually propping up projects as Xbox exclusives wasn't the brightest of ideas; in other words, he's not speaking to the intention of Microsoft to establish another platform within the PC gaming space but rather how the Xbox platform shouldn't preclude internal PC gaming efforts.
Or maybe my joke about the WinStore Client will come to pass.

Just finished a route in Magical Diary. While I won't go back anytime soon for the others I had fun with it. Took about 3 hours for one route. If you like corny VNs and the like you'll get a kick out of this. Well worth the dollar I paid for it on the weekly bundle.
