Shovel Knight easy. Not only did it capture the 8bit midi rifts that I associate with Capcom and Konami classics like MegaMan and Castlevania it also did it's own thing and added to the world of Shovel knight.

Yeah that was hell of a track to kick off the game. Probably the best possible way imaginable. Damn I loved that game. I'll definitely return to it once they get the content patches out. It worked well on 3DS too I have to say.

That's good to know cuz the recent footage hasn't been that impressive. Not awful, but not nearly reaching the promise of the environmental shots we'd seen earlier on.

Well just when I think my September spending is done details emerge of what's included in the Wasteland 2 Ranger Edition.
Urgh if this has a Steam key I'm going to cave in.
I haven't even checked if this is available on 3DS in europe yet. I really do need to crank out the last level and mop up the achievement before the extra content drops. Though I'm swimming in games I've started but not finished. I think I've got problems
Yeah everything I had seen previous didn't look that great a leap forward from mid 2000's 2D isometric CRPGs. I do still think though that if someone isn't a fan of that kind of style of game they aren't going to get as much out of it in a visual sense than people with lots of misty eyed nostalgia for the likes of Baldur's Gate and Torment.
There's a few high res pic in the beta thread but really seeing the game in motion is even better still.

The Mountain uses over 60% of my CPU resources... pretty good for a game/screensaver/thing thats supposed to run just in the background or on a second monitor

Transistor gets my vote this year so far as well .
Yeah... The little I have listened from the artists that have been announced for the game it will surely be on par or top Hotline Miami 1's soundtrack.

Pretty tired of all these Early Access Rust and Minecraft clones. Not saying that they are bad games but it seems that developers are rushing to put out their unfinished WIPs on Steam just because games of the particular genre sell like hotcakes at the moment

Its modern day for one which to me is huge.
Also it's getting updates still as Stomping Lands is frozen ATM for a change to a new engine.
Gameplay wise I don't know. Haven't played either since I'm still a bit weary on early access.
Only Trespasser deserves that honor.
There definitely are a lot at the moment.
Though for this and stomping land having dinosaurs I cut them a break.

Most of them are people who have access to discounted or free product (IE from MSDN or various enterprise licensing arrangements) illegally reselling the keys. It's very unlikely the keys would be revoked, but not impossible. I bought a Win7 Ultimate key from a service like this circa 2008 ("$40! What a deal!") and in about 2010 the key was revoked. Thankfully by that point I had access to keys for free through educational stuff, but still super annoying.
Uprising 44 keys now in the flying new year bundle.
