Honestly, I went for Arc Raiders as GOTY. Games that are unexpectedly successful are much more interesting than games that were expected to blow up like Silksong. Ex33 already receiving every other award.

The "labour of love" award for long term support going to BG3 instead of Rogue Trader is a clear case of this being nothing else than popularity contest, given the latter had 2 large DLCs released and 2 more announced vs. 0.

I think silksong looks like shit, and the combat from KCD2 looks eeally weird. Arc raidwrs is seriously awesome though.

This year I didn't vote for anything at all. I haven't played anything on the list except Arc Raiders.

I'm glad Hades 2 is getting some recognition, it deserves a spot in the roguelite hall of fame.

In fact it deserves the visual style award more than Silent Hill but w/e.

Next year Steam Deck best game is Slay the Spire 2, almost guaranteed.
