Protip for anyone planning to play the original Darksiders (for whatever reason) and don't mind downloading the Warmastered edition as well. You can copy the videos folder from the Warmastered edition as-is, and get the significantly higher bitrate, full hd vids for the original game.

It seems they were actually able to re-render them rather than just use the higher bitrate videos from the original PS3 version, since there are slight differences, like Abaddon's fur pauldrons or whatever are gray on the Warmastered videos.

Is there a reason why someone would play the original over the remaster, is there some sort of downgrade or are you just giving a hot tip just in case?

Separate achievements, what else.

But anyway, the tip was bunk since not all the videos work after all. Boo.
Maybe I could encode new videos from the new renders that would work with the old game, but even I'm not that crazy.
