at reasonable 'sale' gem prices that is, not "hey, let's pay the same value for the game as any other moment", because people don't read that gems are staying post-auction as well.
people want a place that isnt full of redundant questions that were anwsered 2 posts earlier and can actually still carry conversations...imagine that

If I was a seller I would be panicking.

Yep, though someone will have to make a new one when we hit 20000. Hopefully it will be like the fall sale and the main sale thread will keep sale related talk there and this thread will remain largely as is. But we'll see.

Whoever suddenly dumped over 200 gems for 64 cents on the market is an idiot. They're already gone and he could've gotten much more for them.

Can't really get very excited for the sale after the auction. Got 25 games off of my wishlist for better prices then they're likely to hit during the sale. That will probably do for this year.

Same here on the excitement! And that's a fantastic beer purchase to go along with the sale! Guess I need to head out to grab some lunch and brews before this kicks off too!

Just wanted to check since steam could be being hammered atm
can anyone loggin to steam (with credentials not saved already of course) I can't login on the app as it kept saying my password was wrong so went to the change my password on the client and now it's saying my password isn't correct....i've tried all the current passwords I have in rotation and nothing! D:
EDIT: Managed to fix it but now I can't use the marketplace...well aint that super.

If we get a repeat of the summer sale, you'll get another card when the deals switch over and a chance to win some games. No way of knowing if that will be the case this time though as Valve does like to change things up.
The best incentive for crafting early was selling on the holiday cards at vastly inflated prices but they seem to be quite cheap already.

There was a minor mishap in the game where I learned a fire spell (after purchasing it from a friendly vendor) and was testing it when I accidentally set the merchant on fire. The merchant didnt take too kindly to my prestidigitation and promptly locked his store and tried to slay me whilst enflamed. I didnt mean to murder the merchant. But since he was already dead, I destroyed his display stand and broke down his locked room and stole the rest of the stuff I couldnt afford.
This all happened in the tutorial of the game.
Imagine if you took Spelunky (Procedurally generated 2D platforming levels + Permadeath) and you mashed it up with a blend of Skyrim (Elder Scrolls) + Rogue and youd get Vagante
For being an Early Access title, Vagante is crazy polished. Im not even sure why this game is labeled as Early Access even after reading the FAQ. There is a ton of variety and a LOT of depth to even master the game at this point. Gripping on to ledges has to be intentional. There is a gravity to the games pace that presses real and urgent danger everywhere you turn. Secret areas, Boss fights on each level, crazy thieves, traps. Vagante is amazing.
When the tutorial manages to be fun, you know a game is doing something right. Seriously, I am having a ton of fun with this game.
Be warned though, its pretty brutal.

What about Rogue? I mean, obviously you can't buy the PC version yet, but it's essentially Black Flag 2.
It'd probably be a good idea to not refer to it as just "The Fall" as people may confuse it with that other game.
