In 2008 we had our first official Steam dedicated thread on NeoGAF, over the years the success of Steam as well as the people who post
on these threads has made the Steam threads one of the most popular and usefule threads on the NeoGAF site. In its current form we are
receiving over a million visits in total per thread which has helped us becoming one of the most active and friendliest communities to grace
this board.
Now we are at the 25th version of this ongoing saga and it's still going strong. I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has
participated in these threads and who have helped us grow over time, without you guys this thread would be nothing and you are the
reason why this thread keeps on going.
I would also like to say a big thanks to SalsaShark for help running the Steam sale threads which can be really hectic being in able to
keep up to date on regular intervals, kudos to her for making great sale threads.
Also for Stumpokapow, a great mod who manages to keep us on a leash when thigns get out of hand as well as running Modbot and
just being darn helpful and having the the patience to put up with our crap sometimes.
Personally It’s been an interesting few years helping out this thread and I can honestly say it’s the best place to hang out on GAF.
I honestly can't count the amount of dedicated gaffers who help out in this thread, it's just mind-boggling the amount of people who
are willing to help, thank you all.
Hopefully we won’t end up in community when we reach the 50th thread.
