Just noticed you can remove free games (i.e. Floating Point, Reversion etc) now in the license + sub tab. Haven't been in all day though so probably old news by now.

Yeah this is something they're phasing in. Instead of having F2P games all be part of one enormous license that everyone has, each individual F2P game will have a steam license on a per-account basis. The result is that when you add a F2P game, you'll get +1 games in your library. But if you want to delete it, it'll stay in your library until you use the remove function. I suspect it'll be a slow and steady phase-in.

Must buy if u love strategy games. There are some choices during quest u need to make which are obviously text-based, but the game is played real-time (altho it is recommended to spam that pause button!). This game is addicting as fck.

I'm not even that hyped on buying games, I'm much more excited for whatever meta-game Valve have planned. They only did that achievement-tied rewards sale thing once right? Were there a bunch of games updated with achievements prior to that?

Three times: Winter Sale 2010, Summer Sale 2011, Winter Sale 2011. After that, focus shifted away from achievements to Steam Community-based activities.

-First hour drags
-The rest of the game is absolutely fantastic. The story is great, the gunplay is excellent (sans a few levels), and the guns are really fun.

Also it's worth putting money in your Steam wallet if you're planning on buying a lot of games throughout the sale, especially cheap ones.

Some banks will start blocking transactions if they see a lot of small purchases being made to the same company, since it can tip off their fraud protection mechanisms.

Oh, I hadn't even thought of that, just put in some money to my steam wallet now, good idea, didn't have that much in the bank though so I'll have to head out and get some steam cards tomorrow.

You can do that now. What Stump describes isn't being applied retroactively (well, not yet, at least). If you go ahead and install Dota 2, it'll remove itself from your library the moment you uninstall it.

I like it. Really simplistic, sort of old school, a bit like Volgarr's little brother who likes to climb things and can't throw a spear yet. Cool music. I spent a significant amount of time in the Vs. The Horde mode, where you see how long you can survive against endless bad guys. I'm not a respectable reviewer, but I give it two bicep flexes up.
