Games for Windows Live 2 Confirmed?
But seriously, I imagine part of the reason they're getting rid of GFWL is because they're going to announce something new shortly after.
I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel and it was indeed fantastic. The only issue I had was with Saucy Ronan being in it, as I just associate her with JaseC and it kept taking me out of the film.
Haha. Fortunately she only has a few scenes.
After Games for Windows Live comes... Games for Windows Store!

The association made it easier for me... if you get my drift.
In a world where Valve's biggest attempted competitors are EA, Microsoft, and Ubisoft.
Actually with GFWL closing down at the end of this month, I wonder if there might be an E3 announcement at Microsoft's panel about something of the sort?

Wait, that news is obviously old and I probably already knew but forgot. Ah, whatever. Here's something new for the Vita fans: They finally fixed the crash bug.

Sony released a new Crash Team Racing?
No the only success MS has had in PC gaming in recent memory is republishing their back catalog on Steam.
But I never turn mine on to even experience the crash bug.

Going to watch Grand Budapest Hotel tonight, my most anticipated film of the year! I hope it lives up to The Life Aquatic!
Messily killing of your last platform potentially leaving several games unplayable or at the very least limited in functionality is hardly a sign of them prepping to launch a new platform.
Hell they haven't really even been supporting the storefront that actually already replaced GFWL, the Windows Store. After the disastrous launch where you had a couple exclusives most notably Skulls of the Shogun which bombed horribly thanks to being tied to the store. MS quickly gave up on that as an avenue for publishing games. And I wouldn't be surprised to see that on the chopping block next. No the only success MS has had in PC gaming in recent memory is republishing their back catalog on Steam.
“We have now released Xenonauts V1.0 on the Steam Stable branch, which marks the end of formal development for Xenonauts. This is effectively the final version of the game, minus any stability patches that may be required. Official release and leaving Early Access for the game is in about two weeks, but the remaining time is mostly going to be spent on sending out review copies, the PR around the launch, porting to Mac / Linux and getting the Kickstarter rewards sorted out etc.”
“There have been a lot of changes made since the previous Stable version. The game has a much smoother difficulty curve, more information for new players, new line of sight mechanics, much improved AI and all sorts of finer polish.”
Has 17-bit commented on the success (or lack thereof) of the Steam release? A cursory GS brought up nothing.
The other developer, Plush Apocalypse seems just about dead - they list a new game slated for 'late 2013'.
Guess 17-bit is too busy with Galak-Z. I guess Humble should at least offset their porting cost.

Steam is just a Vita port machine geez.
OlliOlli is so good man
it's like a million people tried to do that 2D skateboard game thing on mobile but they finally cracked it
the one thing I envy from the Windows 8 store is the mobile version of San Andreas. Shit is already in widescreen with legit controller support and no hassles. What i would give for them to port all of the mobile GTA games over to steam so that I don't have to download over a handful of mods just to get those games up to modern standards.
I'm thinking of starting System Shock 2 later today. Not really playing anything at the moment, and it doesn't seem too long.
Any near-essential mods?

http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/System_Shock_2#SS2Tool I don't care for Rebirth's creative liberties, though.
A diaper is pretty much required if you plan to play by yourself at night.
Saves you the cost of buying new pants when you inevitably shit yourself.
BF4's tickrate update greatly improves the game. If anyone left the game already, try going back.
so uh there's a sequel to Electronic Super Joy coming out in 2 days

I had no idea. I like that game.
weird that they named it like that on Steam
Theres the fix that adds back the original midwife which is what I have used.http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/System_Shock_2#SS2Tool I don't care for Rebirth's creative liberties, though.
Good luck!
