i think the humble originals are meant to be very much non commercial products so yeah, not surprised

then again this makes me kind of glad i didn't buy that one particular monthly

Maybe they are "optimized" for AMD hardware?...
I mean, given the PS4/One AMD GPU... They might work better on Radeon for PC

I've played 15 hours or so without a single crash, although performance at max isn't as good as I expected (I get frequent drops to the low 50s with a 1070)

game actually doesn't look too bad for a 2002 game, has ssao and some modern graphical options, it's actually pretty demanding at 4k with 8x msaa!

I haven't played it but I have been following it for a while on Steam. They've done quite a bit to the game, including increasing much of the detail. I imagine side by side with the original version it looks quite a bit different/superior.

Not really, Atelier Sophie had some AMD exclusive™ issues. Well, to be exact, not 'exclusive', but the menu/synthesizing fps drops were more pronounced on AMD iirc. Their ports are just a lottery.

Mines not crashing just lots of reports on steam mines the issue.of a gtx1080 cant even keep 60fps..considering it doesn't look any better than the ps3 port of the old samurai game on steam lol

New Kickstarter update is out for Divinity: Original Sin 2 detailing some new Early Access stuff and, finally, a release date. September 14th! So the GOTY will be among us soon enough.

Played through (and finished) Another World Remastered...I'm pretty sure young me would never have got through all the trial and error of some of those sections. I could almost hear the past echoes of my potential agonised screams. Adult me has more patience and restraint though. As a testament to what one programmer achieved in the early 90's it's an amazing example. Short but sweet.

And then the twist of the game is that it takes place in modern America, but you're estranged from modern technology and the antagonists were crazy Trump voters the whole time.

My bigger concern is the average joe who isnt savvy being radicalized into far right groups by events of isis etc happening

Black desert is a steal for price on steam. That explorer pack for $30 is an amazing deal if ur serious bout the game.

The games base price is good too
