You forget the guy who streamed himself building his PC and took him 3 days.
How? Everything is ridiculously easy these days and I'm sure there are a number of really simple to follow tutorials on YouTube that a person could watch first.

what the hell is that?
I know earlier I said I was going to go with Digital Storm and just have them build my PC, but after doing a price comparison
Digital Storm = $8511
Building it myself = $5133
The build it myself price includes sleeving and full hardline watercooling on both GPUs and the CPU. IThe only thing I couldn't throw in was Digital Storm's badass case.
Yeah... a $3400 premium sounds a little ridiculous now.
I guess we are just waiting for the month to end or will the December thread go up before this month ends?
I really gotta unload this damn trivia before the thread switches over to December.
I was thinking about just posting a non-game clue that has the same answer as the current one. That way someone who spent time on the original won't feel totally screwed.
If anyone is against this please let me know, otherwise I will just post the new question/clue in the morning and never speak of this again.
you can repost it in the december thread and it'll keep working. don't let these losers get your game without working for it!!!
Stumpokapow
don't listen to the mad man
A friend of mine who was in a much much wealthier position than I built a 5K rig awhile back - i7, multiple (low quality) monitors, dual or triple Titans. He didn't need the performance, he mostly did it because he could.
Because.
He.
Could.
I built mine for something like $1500 3 or 4 years back. Since then, I've only upgraded the GPU, and picked up a better monitor on sale. What sort of future proof beast specs have you thrown into that estimate?
Is your case made of gold?
Gotta keep all of GTA5 in memory at all times, bro.64GB RAM
Do you rally need that? lol
64GB RAM
Do you rally need that? lol
you can install an entire game on your ram and run it from there lol64GB RAM
Do you rally need that? lol
Yeah. How else will I fill all 8 RAM slots up?
8x4GB is a thing
but I guess what's 200$ bucks more at this point
But 5000$ rig and you only manage to get 1 980ti?
It says "x 2" on his list
8x4GB is a thing
32GB is already killah enough to made you don't have to worry for filesizes
Also 5000$ rig and you only manage to get 1 card?
So is 8x16GB... You're right, I should go with 128GB.
What could you possibly need 128GB of RAM for?

Speaking of the December thread, I should have it up tomorrow night (about 22 hours from now).
Yeah. How else will I fill all 8 RAM slots up? I'm going to be doing things other than gaming on it...
Install 2 AAA games on it.What could you possibly need 128GB of RAM for?
What are the advantages of running a game off ram?
I mean, most games only take a few seconds with an SSD. Is it instantaneous for something like Fallout 4?... much faster load times.
ramdiskHow do you even install software in RAM?
How do you even install software in RAM?
You ram it in.
How do you even install software in RAM?
RAM Disk.
Seriously. I should I never posted that. I just thought that mark up was ludicrous. Now people think I'm ludicrous for wanting a bad ass full closed loop, VR, rendering beast.

Its faster but we're talking 1 second vs 4 seconds, a fast SSD is definitely more than good enough for SSD. As you mentioned, a few seconds or so.
Anyone has a clue what to do when a game crashes, but if you click ctrl, alt, del it just someshow shows a black screen with your mouse cursor?
I dont want to reboot my PC every time that happens.

Well Waifu Hunter is the only one with an honest description anyway.
1 TB SSD prices have not budged at all the entire 2015. What's up with that?
