Nice thread as always, jschackles, but picking Transformers over Tales is still a big mistake, even when I like Transformers probably too much, because Tales on steam is much bigger deal.

Thanks. Look again at the image!

Doomsayers everywhere so far.

No but seriously the transformers game is a full priced platinum game so I would hope the budget is bigger than Korra, just so Activision isn't doing a beats by Dre move.

I've actually never seen that gif without the super sayayin part.
At least I think it's him.

______________

All the crazy combos in the coming expansion for Boi is making me go crazy trying to stand the wait.

Just being able to stack multiple shots(so quad tears + triple tears makes 7 tears now) is crazy cool.

Same here lol, never seen the unedited one.... weird.

So is Tomb Raider reboot for $4 and a bunch a dlc worth it? Like is the PC port decent. Just got a new laptop and it might be a nice way to stretch its legs. (and I have a random 6 bucks burning a hole in my steam account.)

PC Tomb Raider is/was great

Great port and great game, don't mind the haters.

I agree. I had a blast with Tomb Raider and it ran really well on PC, especially AMD cards.

reposting from previous thread:

Now I can finally play NOT A HERO because cheevos have been added and the framerate made smooth. I hope it is good

p.s. duckroll legit scares me because he locks muh topics

--

Not A Hero now has achievements, windowed mode (press alt+enter to toggle between the two), and runs super smooth. I'd tell people to play it, but you know how it goes.

I said I would play it when they fixed it and now I will play it in Big Picture Mode℠ with a Controller™ on My Comfy Couch®

It better not be shit©

Just that the last budget Activision/Platinum game was crap after all.

Korra wasn't that bad; it was a $15 action game, and had replayability. For what it was it was fine.
This game is $50, with a single or initial playthrough taking as long as MGR's.

I must say I very much approve Knurek's take on Paint it Back (in OP in case you wonder)

As for FFV, I wonder if those game breaking bugs are this common as to not to recommend a game, there are already many people that finished the game.
Also let's not forget that in all older FF games there are certain unobvious triggers, sometimes doing things not in right order may prevent you from advancing, these are not bugs, it's how games were made back then, in those cases revisiting locations and talking or leaving reentering or talking, or reloading save and doing the same solves those issues. As far as I remember it didn't work only in FF2, if you did some things not in order you couldn't advance and had to start over, I think it was FF2.

Zestiria' sTier 3 is picking up some steam.

I'm pretty sure it will get there. Never had any doubts, really, but i can be wrong. These kind of games get a nice bump in pre-orders near launch (with or without tiers)

Soma was like that too.

There have been a lot of reports of these types of bugs though, not just related to advancing the plot line. Some people are reporting that Faris never attacks if you're in auto-battle and at the highest speed, for example. Sure you can auto-battle on the next highest speed - but a bug like that should still be addressed (and so far hasn't been).

Like I said, I really love this game (and am still carrying on playing it) but it's hard for me to recommend the game to someone for that price in it's current state.

If you like Final Fantasy V though, here's one game I can totally recommend at it's current sale price.

I see, oh well, I like this game a lot too, it's such a pity that SE treated it this way, but what we can do. Hopefully they'll fix those problems with time if we ask nicely.

edited: I'm only buying Dimensions when they release it on steam, I don't do mobile gaming.

Yeah I really hope they bring Dimensions to Steam. They could have just as easily called it Final Fantasy V-2.

It's very simple: if you stop buying bad games, they'll stop making bad games.

Looking real good. I want to pull the trigger but I know once I do, nuuvem/gmg will have the game much cheaper.

Fair enough, I think the pre-order stuff are just quick unlocks, so go for the cheaper option you prefer and enjoy the game :D

Well, if you prefer bad ports, then by all means continue to reward S-E for making bad ports.

I can't say I prefer bad ports, I prefer good ports, but I doesn't depend on my wishes in any way as far as I noticed.
Because if it did, FF5 would have had full blown enormous budget remake with shiny graphics and a whole lot of additional content.

But how are they releasing this as non-steamworks?

I have no idea, I just know that other drm always means no steam key provided.
