They usually put a warning up. Gotham City Imposters had a ran out of Steam keys warning on the page. Nothing for Farcry 2 when i bought it.

No that is recent, I am talking further than a couple weeks ago. If a game ran out of keys you wouldn't know.

Over 150 game backlog, playing dota 2 all day. :(

I'm still playing FM2012. And I have many more games in the 'backlog'.

Steam is about convenience to me, will pick up stuff super cheap on the off chance I might one day like to play it and its super easy to just install and go.

Civ 5 DLC (£6 something)
Killing Floor Skins (all of them for £2 something)
2x Dead Rising OTR (£4.99 each, one for friend)
Gal Civ II (£3?)

Received the frozen synapse DLC and Ys Origins for my Birthday. ^^

I'm so glad I didn't spend too much, I just kept adding to my backlog and half the games I've bought in various sales I've never played. :/

Final day purchases added to what I had already listed:

Analogue: A Hate Story €4,99
Galactic Civilizations II €3,74
Lucasarts Adventure Bundle €5,39
Pint Sized Paradox Package $7.49 (from Amazon)
- Crusader Kings II: Dynasty Shields DLC Pack
- Crusader Kings II: Mongols DLC Pack
- Crusader Kings II: Ruler Designer DLC
- Crusader Kings II: Songs of Albion DLC
- Crusader Kings II: Songs of Faith DLC

Plentiful Paradox Package $12.49 (from Amazon)
- Crusader Kings II

- Sword of the Stars II: Lords of Winter
- Victoria II
The Bard's Tale €1,74
The Blackwell Bundle €6,99
The Last Remnant €3,00 (from the GMG deal)

I regret buying the Monkey Island Special Edition bundle for myself (new graphic annoy me even for MI2, music feels a little bit changed to me and the classic version is English only) and grabbing the Saints Row The Third DLC the first time it was on sale, given how one of the items wasn't discounted then but it was every other time.

Hopefully with all this stuff bought, I won't buy too much in the next sale, especially because all this stuff will take time to complete.

I've never bought so many games before in my life. I don't know what happened.

40 games plus I gifted 12 games

For Myself:
Alan Wake
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Audiosurf
Bastion
Bit.Trip Beat
Bit.Trip Runner
Bulletstorm
Burnout: Paradise
Crysis
Crysis 2
Crysis Warhead
Darksiders
Dead Space 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening
Fallout 3
Fallout: New Vegas
Far Cry 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
Hard Reset
Homefront
Just Cause 2 + DLC
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
Krater
L.A. Noire
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Metro 2033
Need For Speed: Shift 2
RAGE
Red Faction: Guerilla
Saint's Row: The Third
Supreme Commander 2
Tomb Raider: Underworld
Trine
Trine 2
Velvet Assassin
The Witcher
The Witcher 2

For friends and Gaf:
Trine
Trine 2
Prince of Persia 2008 (5 copies)
Prince of Persia Complete Pack (5 games)

Grand total $260.28

I did (for me, at least) pretty good, I felt, in only buying things I genuinely want to play (Or were cheap backups).

Ys: Origins
Ys: Oath
Fable III Collection (never played a single Fable game, actually)
Risen (backup copy, my other is on gamersgate and I dislike that site)
The Longest Journey
Krater
The Last Remnant (actually bought on GMG for about 7.50)
Fallout: NV All quest line DLC
The Walking Dead
Frozen Synapse: Red DLC
Alan Wake: American Nightmare
Lara Croft: Guardian of Light pack - have on Xbox, love enough to double dip
SW: The Force Unleashed II

Pre Steam-Sale (Amazon, etc)
Pint Size Paradox Bundle
Spec Ops: The Line
Binary Domain

All told? Probably about 120-130 bucks (Havent added up the non-Steam stuff)
That's TWO FULL PRICE GAMES. Being primarily a PC gamer, I forget that sometimes. So incredible.

I wound up with:

Ys Origin - $7.99
Ys Oath in Felghana - $5.09
Frozen Synapse Red DLC - $1.90
The Last Remnant - $1
Just Cause 2 - $3.74
PixelJunk Eden - Gift
Portal 2 - Gift

$19.72

I also gifted some stuff but that doesn't count towards my gaming budget.

Only wanted the Ys games for this sale and walked out with a bunch of cool stuff. Overall this sale has been my most successful in terms of restraint. First time I didn't exceed my $20 budget.

Just finished the second episode of the Walking Dead, hot damn that game is good. Kinda disappointed by the stats at the end, the choices in Ep. 1 were much more polarising.

So many people spent a lot of money. My biggest regret is not picking up Torchlight for $3.74. I just tried the demo out and it was pretty awesome. Plus it would get me ready for Torchlight II.

Get in a 4-pack with someone and get Torchlight 2. You get a free copy of TL1 and at $15.

I got King's Bounty pack and it come with this game call Fantasy Wars which I never heard of that turn out to be very fun. It also come with couple other games that I haven't try yet since I am hook on Fantasy Wars. (It's Panzer General with fantasy units and Heroes of Might & Magic style of story and artworks).

Also got Total War pack for my son. Now that I think about it I should have just bought the entire SEGA collection ...

Yeah actually xeno was just telling me about that on Steam. I never realized what that deal was for the second Torchlight. I might just grab it for $20, I'm sure it would be worth the cost.

Anyone interested in a Fallout 3 GOTY trade? I'll trade it for LA Noire or American Nightmare. I didn't pull the trigger on either of those games when they were really cheap and now regret has set in. B*(

Just noticed I had about 10 games in my cart that I meant to buy yesterday and forgot to actually purchase. Probably for the best anyway.

I did this with Bastion when I told Yoshi I was going to buy it. I completely forgot because of a give away. I only feel safe revealing this because he is away.

Oh yeah, what I bought.

  • Darksiders
  • Broken Sword - Trilogy pack
  • Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition
  • Monkey Island: Special Edition Bundle
  • Just Cause 2
  • The Longest Journey
  • Galactic Civilizations II
  • Lucasarts Adventure Bundle

The things that I was wanting to really buy wasn't marked down as much as I thought but hey, there's Winter sale for that. Hopefully.

Crusader Kings II Sword of Islam

Got way too much. No time to play :(

Batman: Arkham City
Dear Esther
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
Splinter Cell: Conviction
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings-Enhanced Edition
Ys: The Oath in Felghana

All for about under $50. Not bad at all, well, actually downright crazy price when I think about how I spent $50-60 on just one game and would buy at least half a dozen at full price back in the day.

Between Amazon sales (didn't have as many to buy really because of previous Amazon sales) and Steam Sales, you will be backlogged forever and never pay full price ever again.

I was good this time. Only got the Dead Island bundle and Terraria. Haven't gotten much into DI yet, but Terraria was well worth it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who's done that. I could have sworn I bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and then I looked in my cart. Nope. And the sale was over at that point. :(
