A few years ago, Steam added the option to hide your activity and thus your library and playtime. For those of you who are ashamed of your hundreds of hours in Cute Girls VR, Rich MILF Drama, and HuniePop, it was a bandaid to mask the truth. But now Steam is adding a better way to manage your games - marking individual titles as private.

As highlighted by SteamDB creator Pavel Djundik, the option is incredibly easy to find. All you have to do is go to your game of choice, select the three dots on the bar, and click the new "Mark as Private" option. However, this feature isn't live yet as it's a work in progress. While the obvious use of this is to hide adult games, Djundik's example was Counter-Strike 2. Equally as awkward, to be fair. I'd like to scorch my thousands of hours in it too. But those in the comments and quote retweets are more fussed about playing "furry feet in peace". Have fun, @kaktustes.



Others plan to use the feature to hide their incredibly high number of hours in Dead by Daylight, Terraria, and VRChat. Again, all fair picks. I'll probably tuck my over 1,000 hours of Garry's Mod into the do-not-look drawer, next to Skyrim and Dark Souls 2.

It's not Steam blocking it, it's Koei Tecmo that's too afraid of the SJWs in the west to officially release it there.

It didn't receive a release in the west because apparently skimpy outfits and jiggly boobs are too offensive for the average north american and european gamer (thanks Shu, Sony and Koei Tecmo) so they blocked the release on all EU/NA digital storefronts including Steam.

I believe there's still a workaround to get the Asian Steam release that has EN localization by using a VPN.

Or you can get the Switch or PS4 multi-language Asian version from PlayAsia (not the Japanese one as it doesn't have EN localization).

there’s some other games region locked like that too, IIRC it’s a headache to try to buy them even if you travel to the region

I always leave the adult suggestions on because some of them make me laugh just from the title and the box art. When I see especially funny ones for cheap, I gift them to friends. Last time I bough 4x Hentai Nazi. 2 of them accepted and 2 did not. One probably because he never logged on in the window to accept and one probably because he finds them kind of repulsive.

Why is every game with cute girls and nice art a goddamn visual novel? I guess it is a cheap and fast way to crank out games that will sell to dudes. Aren’t here any actual games that have panty shots and such? They are all just boring novels and “puzzle” games.
