first player to hit both 300 and THEN 400 threes in a single season.

truly the steph curry supernova.

the most incredible individual season I've ever seen live, with Kobe's 81 point season as a runner up. just unbelievable.

Well that was a pretty incredible game. My ears are hurting from how loud the crowd was when Curry started to explode in the first quarter.

The win was the main objective, but Curry shot well enough to stay in the 50-40-90 club. Highest scorer in the club! Definitely in the running for the greatest offensive season ever.

So yeah

Steph Curry last year set the all time 3 point single season record with 286

This year, he finished with 402.

That's pretty cool.

He also sat out an entire 18 fourth quarters, I believe. It's not inconceivable that he could break his record again in a future season with increased minutes.

People get more injuries after spraining ankles. Your overall balance and stability decreases

I'm not saying this was directly related, but if he didn't sprain his ankle earlier, he might have been able to handle this better.

He slipped on a wet spot on the floor. What does rest have to do with that?
NBA gaf. Nothing but trash.

It's a freak accident. He slipped on the exact spot another player went down on 1 second before.

Hope it's nothing serious. Houston sucks but that San Antonio Golden State series won't be the same.

Apparently there were complaints before the game started about the same area getting wet.

Also, you can see another player slipping on the court in that same spot before Curry did - he ran over the spot and fell down.

And it was his right ankle that was hurt wasn't it? He slipped on his left foot, the way he slipped I can't see how a healthy right ankle would have made a difference.

It just feels like you're reaching here.

The stars have aligned for Durant. No Curry, Bron having his worst season in a decade, the Spuds are the Spuds.

Nah, we all know how that will end up.

Cue freshprince-durant-westbrook.gif!

He hit a wet spot and did the splits at like 15mph directly onto his knee.

Nah man, two weeks of rest at the end of the regular season would have prevented that. He would've noticed the slippery area with his spider-sense abilities at full power, and deftly avoided it!

That's not how it works. He slipped on a wet spot. A healthier ankle wouldn't have made that water disappear before his foot hit the floor.

See, a fully healthy Curry would have been 9-12 with 25 points by then, and by being so red hot his mere presence would have evaporated any nearby liquids on the court!

So assuming he's out for 6 weeks, Curry's not gonna be available for the WCF. Spurs have to be the favorites now.
