Yep. IT's really tragic. My dad died from ALS after a LONG battle just a few years ago (He was diagnosed in the mid 90s, he lived MUCH longer than the norm, thankfully). It's one of the hardest things in the world to watch, and it's clear that the mental struggle for the person with it is taxing. Even after taking care of him for over a decade I literally cannot imagine what it's like to have the inability to make your body do what you want. To know that you could, for example, take a step, but have your leg just not respond to that thought...terrifying
My kids adore Spongebob and they have marathon views of it on Now TV now and then. We also have 2 of the big teddies of Spongebob and Patrik, both from Universal Studios.
