I don't know much about Ballmer's tenure at Microsoft, or what kind of a person he is. Anyway, when the news broke out that he owned a significant amount of twitter, the floodgates opened:

He's a clown.

EDIT: I take that back, Ballmer is the most genuine tech Executive I ever knew.

Just saw that his net worth is 22.7 billion dollars! Holy shit! Never expected that much. Thought at max 2-3 billion.
Also, he is 1.96m tall! Dude must be a giant in real life.

It's amusing how Microsoft execs don't mind taking the piss out of themselves. I know they are pure money hungry business folk but at least they have a laugh now and again. Can't remember many others going that far with the company name.

That guy totally led Microsoft in the wrong direction in the post-Bill Gates years. Did not keep up with changes in the tech sector, especially consumer products, and tried instead to hang on to their traditional revenue sources - Windows and Office. They seem to be adapting much better now that he's gone.

This is very ignorant comment.

Ballmer did lot of things wrong, totally missed the smartphone era and Nokia acquisition was dumb. Even he regrets that. But he also did lot of things right.

Skype, Azure, Office 365, Windows 10 ( best of W7 and W8 that were made under his leadership), Xbox, Surface product line.

Ballmer planted the seeds and Satya is AMAZINGLY executing everything. He is also doing a tremendous work by the way. Now we finally see ONE Microsoft coming together. All the products and services. I have very very high hopes for this company and the direction they are headed to.

Consumer is a small part of Microsoft. He's done pretty well on the business side of things.

I always likened him to TMNT Krang's robot body and Gates was the disembodied brain himself. Then the brain left and this big bruiser robot heavy started waving its large indestructible arms at things, yelling.
