Lol are those the Tekken x Street Fighter character models that namco made fighting on a Resident Evil 6 background

Getting on PC my biggest issue is current gen arcade sticks not working on next gen

The Skullgirls devs made a fix that allows past gen sticks to be used with PS4, the only thing is it's up to the other game Devs to implement it.

This is a very weird exclusivity "deal". When they say "PC" they are actually saying "Windows", i.e., a Microsoft platform. So then, why not releasing it for Xbox One too?

Capcom don't have to pay Microsoft for licensing and certification to release their game on Windows like they would for Xbox.

Sony should have left well enough alone and now they're going to get it. It's not enough that they're bleeding benjamins from practically every crevice of their existence. Now they go and throw immense moneyhats at a niche game like Street Fighter just to piss off the market. Why pay to keep a game out of the hands of as many gamers as possible? Why not put that money into first-party studios and games instead?

I know, I know... this is the way the business goes as they say. Well, they forced Microsoft's hands with their early sales lead and Microsoft only responded with an NPD whooping (source: musings thread) by way of incredible deals and value. Microsoft will undoubtedly follow this announcement up with some real megatons of their own.

Gears remake collection. A true Banjo sequel. Halo 5 beta in the hands of gamers. The next Bayonetta, Dead Space and Crysis as exclusives. Those are the kinds of blockbuster response announcements I expect, and then some. You hit Microsoft with a jab, you best be ready for a flurry of uppercuts coming at you in response.

Now before xbox fans get all worked up over this wait for an official statement. This may very well be a timed exclusive. But so far from what i gather if you are FG fan you should really look into a ps4 if you don't have one already. Guilty gear this month, MK (multi-plat) may perform better on ps4 and now SFV (the biggest competitive FG). Who knows maybe we will see a Capcom vs Sony or CvS3 on ps4 too.

Honestly after Guilty Gear Xrd this isn't suprising to me Japanese Developers want to make money too in their own homeland and that's obviously not going to happen with the XB1 so why should they put the time,effort,and MONEY to port it over to XB1 just to cater to the Western audiance? Given Capcom's history this may evntually find it's way to XB1 but who knows since Dead Rising 3 still hasn't made it over to PS4.

This isn't Guilty Gear. It's Street Fighter. I'd agree with you if we were talking about a relatively obscure Japanese fighting game, but Street Fighter is still a very big franchise outside of Japan.

Exactly. Times are changing. Japanese 3rd party publishers like Arc System Works have gave Xbox platforms plenty of chances, & most of their games all sold like shit on those platforms in comparison to Playstation platforms.

Even others like Namco-Bandai woke up in regards to the "Tales of" series, & made future Tales games PS3 exclusive.

Exclusivity for this game, I dont really view in the same way as other titles. The reason being is that the playerbase is less segmented(pc hardly counts). This is a title where everyone should be able to play against one another. This just seems more convenient in that way but i do empathize with xbox fans. If this were an xbox exclusive I'd get it justbthe same.

I dunno man, there was a lot of anger here when the Tomb Raider thing happened. The PS4 is the only current gen console that I own, and I would be happier in a world where SFV and Tomb Raider are available for both systems on their respective release dates.

I agree, and honestly, this really surprised me...
Sony has a lot of first party to support them with exclusives, so going out to a 3rd party to pick up an exclusive surprises me.

If this was a completely new game, it wouldn't bother me, but just like TR, this is a popular franchise that has been multiplatform in the past, so limiting it to one console seems like a dirty move.
But I guess they need something to combat MS's KI exclusive just like MS picked up TR specifically to combat Uncharted 4.
