Damn June's going to an expensive month for video games.

Also, hate that preorder DLC is a thing. Though at least nothing is paywalled in the deluxe editionsfor FFXVI. D4 and SFVI on ther other hand.. Urrrgh. Three tiers and locked DLC.

Yup. They're not releasing the game early. They're making others wait to play four days after launch, unless they pay extra.

It makes me worried about what other ideas they have to further monitize the game above the $70 initial purchase price.

2023 was already starting with a bang in Q1, it's good to see that early summer great titles will continue to be released.
FFXVI is my most awaited title by far but I also want to play SF6 and Diablo4.

Almost want to wait on a PC version of FFXVI, and the other games would make that easier, but that's not going to happen.

Man, Zelda and Final Fantasy are my favorite franchises and both routinely have anywhere from 4-7 years in between "main" installments... now the next two main installments are landing within 5 weeks of each other. I will need a life break for a couple months.

So Diablo IV previews yesterday had me going HELL YEAH and not even 24 hours later I'm sayin HELL NAH after reading about battle passes and 4 day early access.... DISGUSTING!

I think it'll be a standard edition of FFXVI for me. Hopefully Diablo IV on GP. SF I'll wait for a sale or a new edition with some of the DLC packed in. Not gonna pay $70 when they have that much DLC planned like usual.

Just FF16 is day 1 for me.

SF6 is a buy by the end of the gen when the game has a more "complete" roster.
D4 might be a purchase if cheap during a promo, or might not even bother with it.

I hope Final Fantasy 16 comes with a nice day 1 edition for us physical buyers. Like Elden Ring, which had a really nice launch edition.
