I'm gonna be sad if the beta says this fucked the entire time. Even with the first one they eventually managed to get it working more or less.

Was victorious against Ken as R. Mika. Now I guess I'll be waiting forever. The SFV Beta experience; at least this time I get to practice.

LI Joe was just doing st. jab OS EX tatsu. The EX tatsu will hit from very far away, even if you're only catching a whiffed normal it seems. So much for Capcom trying to remove that type of OS. Capcom wanted to get rid of that so that people would have to commit which is what Combofiend has reiterated a lot. But it still works if you special cancel really fast. So when you do it right it works just like SF4 where the special will only come out if your normal touches your opponent.

j.HP -> st.HP -> V-skill -> cr.lp -> light tatsu -> DP

If you need a longer hit confirm and are willing to sacrifice the damage, you can just end the combo with the standard Ken BnB combo

j. HP, st. HP, V Skill, cr. LP, st. LP, st. LK, HP SRK

This is actually all I wanted out of this beta, just a chance to try out the characters in Training Mode without having to fight online against people. Getting a ton of work in and learning some cool stuff.

After a whole week of nobody able to log in consistently .

Any Ken combos out there ?

What I found so far:

- s.lpx2>s.lk>special
- c.lk>s.lp>s.lk>special
- s.mp>s.hp (target combo 1)>special
- c.mp>target combo 1>special

Haven't really messed with crush counters and v-trigger stuff yet.

Ah, matchmaking screwed eh?

Well that's a major issue for a beta focused on online performance. Can't analyze online matches if they never happen, eh? This beta won't be very useful for capcom.

Appreciate the honesty from them though, and it's nice they put in local matches this time. People will be happy.

What is it?

It's pretty similar to the other corner resets.

HP -> Back V-T (Hold) -> Forward MP + MP (Irish Whip) -> Nadeshiko comes out -> cr.hp

If you're hitting it correctly, you can down+back to keep your opponent in the corner. If you want, you can down+forward with a tiny bit of forward right at the end to put yourself on the other side of the opponent. Your opponent won't be able to tell until the very last second.

I'm pretty sure it works but I'd need to test it on other chars as well.

Sorry if this has been asked before; couldn't find the info in the OP: How does Mika's Nadeshiko trigger work? Like, what exactly am I holding, when and for how long in order to properly control the delay and direction of her attack? I thought it was straightforward, but it's confusing me.

I don't "get" necalli.

Any Ken combos out there ?

Cr.mk > fireball >v trigger > back mp hp TC > any EX

If you are in the corner when you hit the target combo you can do lp shoryu > hp shoryu for more damage than any ex move.

Also cr. Mk > fireball > super works.

Proudly debt free. If you need a couple bucks, just ask.
STREET FIGHTER V: TRAINING MODE TRIAL VER.

Tap her V-trigger for Nadeshiko to come out almost instantly and hold it for Nadeshiko to come in after a little delay.

Holding forward, back, or neutral when you call nadeshiko has her come out in three different moves, with neutral being a belly drop from above and I believe forward coming out from behind Mika and backward coming out from behind the opponent (don't remember exactly atm).

Haven't gotten a match yet tonight. Kind of a bummer honestly, local play is a nice thought and I'll enjoy some time playing with friends this week but I just want to grind dammit.

The difference between the Hold & Press versions is a delay when she comes in. It's a set delay so you don't need to do hold the V-Trigger the entire time. Once both her arms are up in the air during the V-Trigger start-up animation, you can let go of HP+HK.

You can control which direction she comes in by pressing the corresponding. Back makes her come from behind Mika. Neutral makes her drop from above your opponent. Forward makes her drop kick the enemy from behind.

It's pretty straightforward.

Thanks guys.

Also, light tatsu makes him change side. Interesting.

Combo I found :

Jump MK
MP
Hadoken MP
Vtrigger
MP
Light Tatsu
Ex Shoryu

Does almost 300 damage. Probably does it if you swap hadoken mp for a strong one, i can't test since I got rid of my Fierce button to get an EX button instead.

I'm not playing this game on a PAD without mapping Vtrigger as a button.

Played over an hour and not a single match. Get your shit together, Capcom.

First timers are so cute.

We went through hell the first beta, having many new characters to play in training mode with 2Players and CPU enabled is like heaven in comparison.

I just hope they release Kanzaki stage for everyone. How can I pay fight money if I can't get a match ?

That and its 2000 FM lol.
This wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't for the fact that the matchmaking isn't working and you only get 50 FM for winning and 10 for losing.

Forward is behind the opponent. The weird part is the timing for me. So I need to hold HP + HK, but she doesn't come out exactly when I let go. But sometimes she does? And sometimes I let go while holding a direction but she'll instead attack in the direction I was moving after I let go of V-trigger.

Ah... Alright, thanks. I was misinterpreting how this move worked. Was thinking too much about how ASW puppet characters worked.

im still having a difficult time redownloading this. PS4.

Can someone help? I deleted the beta from 1.0. No idea how to fix...

Waiting for whenever Rashid/Karin drops but I'm having a lot of fun with Necalli at the moment. Was thinking of playing Ken(and prob everybody else) but I played with Ryu for the majority of the first beta and didn't feel like playing a shoto again. R.Mika/Vega are pretty awesome too but I'm gonna stick with Necalli at the moment cuz of dem stomps! Also sucks about the framerate since I don't remember seeing it drop anytime during training in the last beta.

Had no matches so far. :(
